The object of the game is to gather sufficient information and evidence that will enable you to address the citizens of Rome at the end of Act 3 in order to prove the innocence of Aurelia and explain the plot behind the assassination of Caesar. During the three Acts the amount of information and evidence you collect will depend upon where you go, to whom you speak and the manner in which you address them. In order to proceed from Act to Act there is a minimum amount of evidence and information you’ll need, this is set out below but it is possible to gather much more than this.

Note. I never solved this puzzle [I couldn’t find it] but it did not prevent me from proceeding onwards.

You need the Egyptian pectoral

found on one of the statues in the Gardens of Caesar.

To assist in the comedy taking place in the house of Clodia

You must keep Mark Antony in the baths. To enter the baths it is necessary to have soap and strigile. You can obtain these requisites from Locusta at the herbalists or by helping the maid in the kitchen prepare her seating plan.

To assist with the seating plan proceed as follows:

Do not give places to Mark Antony, Cicero and Brutus. Then you must place Clodia and Octavian in the best places: Clodia is in the third place of L’Imus Lectus [at far end] and Octavian is near to her in the first place of Medius Lectus [to the left]. You can place the other guests as you wish.

When you give the servant the list she will give you the bath requisites.

When you show these to the doorman he will allow you to enter. You must then be cordial to Mark Antony and serve him pure wine. Asleep he presents a comical spectacle.

You must find Caesar’s will: to do this we must secure the release of Aurelia given by Octavian: Octavian will give us the release orders if one shows him Mark Antony’s ring. One must then go to the prison and show the release orders to Herennius, you then have the filmed sequence of Hercules saving Aurelia.. In the Temple of Vesta you must do something with a lever found behind a stone at the bottomof the wall to the left of the stairs[ as you’re looking at them] Then re-enter the Temple to take the will hidden in the internal wall.

You must find the tablet of Capys.

To do this you need Caesar’s will, go to the Gardens of Caesar and use Brutus’s dagger on the stag of the statue, this opens a drawer containing Caesar’s treasure, you must then show Caesar’s will to the goddess Diana, a trapdoor opens and one is able to take the tablet.
