The Story
Frank is a brilliant painter who has a big weakness. He adore sex more
than his own works. Casanova and Don Juan are his favorite idol. A complete romantic: the perfect
alliance between obsessive desire and the little personal pain that one can caress at will.
This led Mephisto to propose him charm and seduction in exchange for his services as a
painter.
Frank's Studio
Q: Where should I begin?
A: Step down to Frank's Studio and start to
browse around all the items there. Pictures on the wall, the diploma, and
the note inside the small box on the small table will provide you some
information on this guy. Climb down the spiral ladder to visit his lower
room. You'll see a big painting there.
Q: What can I do with this painting ?
A: It's actually a door to his bedroom.
You need to find something to pry it open. Go back up to the small table
beside his drawing table. Look at the pencils cup beside the small box.
Pick up the thin pencil and the compass needle. Use the thin pencil on the
painting below to pry it open. You'll see Frank's bedroom.
There are several interesting objects that will tell you different
stories from time to time. They are the bed, the wine bottle, the chair,
and the two bookshelf beside the bed. Click on them often to hear or view
different stories.
Q: What should I do with the small statue
beside the bed?
A: You need to put something on its
head. Go back up and find a big cabinet with a glass door on it. Push the
right button twice to open the door. Pick up the wig on the painting hand.
Go back down to the bedroom and put the wig on the statue's head. Now turn
the key on its side. It will open a small compartment on the base of the
statue. Pick up the small green key inside.
Q: Where can I use the green key?
A: Look at the mermaids statues on the
corners of the bed. There are four of them. If you look carefully on their
bellies, you'll see small red buttons. You need to push them in certain
order.
Put the compass needle on the compass at the base of the bed. Notice how
the needle moves from north to the left direction. Now push the button
starting from the north mermaid (no. 1)
then go around to the left until the last mermaid on the south east
direction (no. 4). It will lower the
roof. Climb down the bed and insert the key on the roof front. You'll see
a painting inside. Watch the cut scene.
Notes: There's an additional clue on this if you open the roof of the bed above you.
Step on the bed and face up. Open the slide door on the bed roof. You'll
see a poem written behind it.
The Diary of The Seducer
Q: What should I do now?
A: If you look around the place again,
each pictures on the wall, the bed, wine bottle, chair, and the painting
above the bed will tell you different stories. The papers inside the small
box beside the drawing table will tell you about Frank's work: Diary of
the Seducer. It's time to find where he keep this diary.
Q: Where is the diary?
A: The entrance to the room where you
could find the diary is hidden inside his
bedroom. There are two clues about the way to open this entrance. Pick up
the slides and the magnifying glass from inside the small cabinet. Go
toward the rolling desk (it's below the main staircase). Turn the
lamp switch on. You could find this switch on the bottom left side of the
desk. Put the slides on the bright area then use the magnifying glass to
analyze the 2 rightmost pictures. Pay attention on that clock. The second
clue is directly on the top of the entrance itself. Go to the bedroom and
look closely at the strange mat on the floor. Here are the 2 pictures that
should give you a clue. Both are pointing to 5:30. Go to the grandfather
clock beside the drawing table. Darn it's locked.
Q: Where is the key to unlock the
clock face?
A: Go to the cabinet with a glass door
again. Push the right button twice to open the door. You'll find the key
inside. Now open the clock face and set the time to 5:30. When you close
the clock face, it will open the trap door in the bedroom. The entrance is
just below the mat. Go down to the darkroom. On the table you'll find The
Diary of The Seducer (the Third Evidence) along with a note in it. Pay attention with one
special name with key symbol to the right of it. Read the note.
Q: What should I do now?
A: Look at one of the photo above the
desk. It will give you the next clue: "If you're searching for the
cause of a desperate act, find the dream that was trampled on."
Q: What is Frank's dream?
A: To be a successful man. Go back to
the main room and look his diploma on the wall (close to the cabinet with
the glass door). Click on the top left corner of the frame to pick it up.
Go back down to the dark room and walk to the small table beside the
camera (there's a red button on it). I call this table as table
A. This
has the same function with the table you use to see the slides above. Too
bad the light is broken.
Q: Where could I find a light for
this table?
A: If you look closely to the diary
earlier, you'll see a special name with key symbol on the right side of
it. That name has index number 76. Now look at the collection of pictures
in front of the table. One of them has number 76 on it (look the image
below). Move it to reveal a hidden crevice behind the photo. Take the
bulbs.
Q: Where should put the bulb?
A: Look at the top of table A. You'll
see a small door there. Open it and insert the red bulb inside. Now put
the the diploma on table A and push the red button. You'll know an
interesting fact. Frank has tried to commit a suicide but failed. He's
known later on as the man with the mask......
The Tunnel
Q: How can I get out from this place?
A: Appearance and habit are the two
things will deceit you. Don't look for the obvious. If the door handle is
on the right then ..... click on the left side of the door.
Q: How could I operate this
strange device?
A: Open the small box on the left wall.
You'll see the exact imitation of the device on the wall ... except it's a
small one. Pull the stick until it reach the leftmost edge of the gears.
The device will start working. Watch the cut scene...
From Theodore Rolodex:
I knew three Franks. There was the narcissistic young man with adolescent crises who
screamed "love me!" with this imploring look which put off even the most generous
women.
Then there was the selfish and naive seducer who discovered one of the most
dangerous forms of power without anyone warning him about how to use it.
As for the third Frank... (...)
