The Story
Nathaniel Meister is an appealing personality, with such immense knowledge, and one little secret, a little story forming part of the great. The war did not just leave him with medals, and also a lost woman was the cost of this gallantry. He has prepared a small test for you, a challenge to human genius... yours, to discover his little secret.

Study Room
Q: Where should I begin?
A:
Go inside his house and head straight to his study room. Look at several interesting objects to build the story again. You could find a burnt paper in the fireplace, a scratch mark on the sofa, a phone on the table, several books on the bookshelf, and of course the pictures on the wall. Don't forget to take the box of  matches inside the drawer on the desk.

Q: How could I open the locked desk ?
A:
The key is hidden on the bookshelf. If you read the book on the mathematical section, you'll be given a clue: "Code is the key". Pick up the Code book on the same section. You'll find a key inside. Use it to unlock the cabinet. You'll find several interesting objects inside the drawers.

Top Left Drawer Seal Ring
Top Middle Drawer Letter
Top Right Drawer Magnifying Glass
Bottom Left Drawer Paper Knife
Bottom Right Corner Geological Survey Map
Bottom Right Drawer Nothing ??

Q: Where is the left statue's head (the statue is located below the cabinet)?
A:
Actually, it's hidden in the secret compartment in the bottom right drawer. Open the bottom left drawer and click on the bottom right drawer while the bottom left drawer still open. If you close the bottom left drawer first then the secret compartment will still be hidden. Take the wooden statue and put it on the headless statue. It will open the left cabinet. You'll find 3 tapes inside. Play that tape on the tape player. Now head down to the bedroom below the left staircase.

Bedroom
Q: How can I open the drawer below the bed?
A:
Look at the stained window in front of the bed. Open the window and put the geological map inside. Close the window again and look at the window now. It will show you some kind of map. This will set up the combination code for the mechanical lock on the globe holder (part of the code is from the date of the Operation Fortitude). Look carefully at the coordinates on the map. It says 50o20' and 0o45'. There are 4 pipes on each corner of the bed. Turn the wheel on the rear pipes according to the first pair coordinates (longitude: 50 and 20) and then set up the front wheels with the other pair (latitude: 0 and 45). It will open the drawer.

Q: How could I unlock the box inside?
A:
Use the seal ring to unlock it. Pick up the Coding Wheel. You'll find a locked book inside. You could pick up a pipe here also.

Q: How can I open the book?
A:
Look at the rainbow on the big window behind the globe. Use the colors to unlock the book. Set the color so that it align to the right side. From top to bottom:  Purple, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. You'll find a sealed envelope inside.

Q: How could I open this envelope?
A:
Use your paper knife to open it. There's a clue on how to do it inside the wardrobe. Open the third door from the left. Look closely to the pile of suit on the top shelf. Use your magnifying glass to see the paper closely. You'll see how to use the knife. Anyway, hold the paper knife then slide it under the seal and move it to the bottom direction. If you do it right, the envelope will be opened without destroying the seal. It's ...... a practice letter. You'll find the real envelope later on.

Q: What should I do to unlock the mechanical lock on the globe?
A:
You need to set up the correct sequence number (the last 5 numbers on the bottom row). If you look at the map on the window again, you'll read the word: Omaha. This is the clue to that number. Look at the wardrobe again. Open the second door from the left. Search the right suit. You'll find a postcard with Visit Omaha Beach word on it. Turn that postcard around and you'll read A=0. Now look at your coding wheel and find the numbers for the word OMAHA after you set A=0. The numbers will be 79030. Set the bottom row of the lock to this number and the glove will open. You'll find a scarf and another sealed envelope. Open it by using you paper knife. Get the note inside (the Second Evidence). Watch the cut scene. You'll be transported back to the study room.

The Treasure Hunt

Q: What should I do now?

A:
Read the Gothe Faust book on the leftmost shelf. Search the drawers inside the cabinet on the corner again. This time you'll find a tape and three chalks. Play the tape by using the tape player inside the underneath cabinet. Nathaniel will say something about an assistant and you need to make him alive again by using proper components. The 'treasure' hunt has begin. You'll see a note also. This is the first clue to look for the components. "If you want to know about fire, learn about ashes."

Q: What does this first note meant?
A:
Ashes.... what is related with ashes? Fireplace. Go directly to it. Use the bellows to blow some ashes away from the fireplace to reveal a hidden compartment. Open it and you'll find a box with slots and strange symbols inside each slot. Pick it up along with the handle and the note. Read the note: "The frog in the well knows nothing about the high seas". What frog? Pick up the shovel on your left also. Maybe you'll need it later.

Q: Where could I find this frog?
A:
Go out and head to the old well. Mount the handle on the wheel beside the well. Turn the well to lift the bucket up. You'll see a frog on the top of the bucket. Pick up the item from its mouth. Read the note inside the bucket: "What is under is like what is above".

Q: Where is the next item?
A:
It's buried under the ground. Take the path to the left of the well. Turn left and go straight into the bushes. Turn a little bit left and move the big boulder. Use your shovel to dig at the spot where the boulder was. You'll find the next item along with the telescope and another note: "Analogy. Turn to your left and look up. Learn to read the veins of the rock as the branches of the tree, and find the petrified sap".

Q: What does this analogy mean?
A:
Just follow what it said. Turn to your left and look up. Look at the branch closely. Mount your telescope there. Look into the telescope and you'll see a spot on the rock. Go there and pick up the next item plus another handle. Read the note: "I am movement. I live half in the air, and half in the water, but I get a grip on the earth. 7 After Black".

Q: What is this 'movement' about?
A:
Go to the right side of the house. You'll see a water wheel. Insert the handle on its place to the left of the water wheel. The wheel will start moving. Start counting when you see the bucket with black stripe on it. Pull the handle again when it reach the seventh bucket (or the sixth after the bucket with a black stripe). Look closely on the space between the bucket and the one below it. You'll see a hidden compartment. Open it then pick up the next item, a key  and the note. It says: "Make the radiant sun shine in glory upon Iris' rainbow. Help is not far from the sailors".

Q: Where can I use this key?
A:
Go to the bedroom and look on the wall above the bed. Insert the key on the slot. It will open the box. You'll see a rotating switch inside. Move it to the right. Hmmm... nothing happens. Could it be something wrong? Look carefully on the wall to the left of the big globe. You'll see a crevice with something red on it. Pick the red thing. You'll have the next item and this act will allow the light shine across the room and stop at the window in front of the bed. Look at it.... the sailors picture!!!

Q: What should I do with the sailor picture?
A:
Look inside the drawer beside the bed. Pick up the mirror. Insert the mirror on the sailor's head. It will reflect the ray to the back window where the rainbow is. Yeah, you're right ... that's the Iris's rainbow. Look closely at the window. The ray will point at the sun. Examine the sun. You'll have the next item along the note: "Visita Interiora Terrae, Rectificanfoque, Invenies Occultum Lapidum" or you can say "Visit the belly of the earth".

Q: Where is the belly of the earth?
A:
The earth can means globe. Open the big globe and you'll find the next item and again, along with a note beside it: "One cannot wander looking at the stars with a stone in his shoe".

Q: Where can I find the shoe?
A:
The wardrobe of course. Open the second door from the left. Pick up the shoe and move its sole. You'll find the last note which told you to go to the kitchen.

Q: But where is the last item?
A:
Go straight to the kitchen and open the rightmost cabinet on the left wall. Pick up Common Salt, Rock Salt, and Salt of the Wise. Those are your final items. Now go to the table and click on the device. It will start to work and finally creates Homunculus, your small assistant ........ It's alive ...

The Abandoned Park
Q: What should I do inside this abandoned park?

A:
Look up and notice an empty spot on the left of the lights. Insert Homunculus there. Enjoy the cut scene. When it's over, pick up the lottery ticket.

From Theodore Rolodex:

This is a letter I found when Nathaniel died :
"During the last meeting of the LCS, you offered me the chance to rejoin MI 6. This offer is a great honor and I thank you for it. Nevertheless, I have to decline it. We know each other well enough, I think, for my decision not to come as much of a surprise.(...) I hope the future will hold fewer dark hours for us, and you can count on my respect and dedication."

Respectfully yours,
Nathaniel Meister
