Chapter 9:
Mission 5: Discovery (Aliën Planet Viok Epsilon 5)
13 Golden Starships
The Enterprise has tracked the aliens, who attacked the Attrexian space station and the Dallas, to a nearby planet. This planet is Viok Epsilon 5. The Hazard Team is beamt to the surface of this planet to investigate. You'll will have to deal with spiders in this mission.
Level 1: Drull Ruins: First contact:
1 Golden Starship
You're on Viok Epsilon 5 and you're standing at a big, strange, shuttle craft. Chell is scanning this shuttle but he can't find any data about it in the Enterprise database, Telsia informs you that she has detected some life forms. Let's practice a bit now. Pull out your Tricorder and push your secondary fire button (for me that is my right mouse button) You'll will scroll between the different function of your Tricorder. Those function are: "Normal View Mode", "Structural Integrity View Mode", "Bio-Scan View Mode" and "Trace-Gas View Mode". During this mission you shall use them all.
Golden Starship 22: You're standing before an Arch. When you look ahead you'll see a couple of "flowers". Go there and when you at those "flowers" turn right. Now you'll see an Arch bridge. It's going to the left. Walk forwards but do not cross the Arch Bridge for now. Instead turn right. Now you're looking at the Arch that you just passed. Go up this Arch and walk to the end and grab the Golden Starship that's floating at the rock wall. Turn around and walk of the Arch and no cross over the Arch Bridge. When you have cross the Arch Bridge then go right and then left an walk to the people.
Your have 3 goals no and they are: to find the missing Idryll scouting team, to find the missing Idryll archaeologist an to find the entrance of the ruins. Look around here. You'll see the entrance of a tunnel. Go in the tunnel and follow it. After the left turn the "Exiting Area" screen appears. Walk on to the next turn. LOADING.
Level 2.1: Drull Ruins: Restore Main Power.
1 Golden Starship
You'll need to have a weapon ready from now on. Follow the tunnel and you will come outside. You're standing before a very big gate. It's closed. You can't climb the walls here. Turn left and look at the wall. You'll see a crack in the wall. Scan this wall with your Tricorder set to "Structural Integrity View Mode". Shoot the piece of wall and you make a hole in it. Go to it, crouch and crawl through the hole in the wall to the other side. ( did you see that spider running away?). You're in a narrow "Alley" now and you can't go any further because it's blocked by a pile of rocks. Go to that pile of rock and turn around. You're looking back at that hole in the wall. You need to climb the ledges now. Well, climb onto the lower ledge, then onto the next one, turn left a little and climb onto the next ledge. Turn right a little and jump up to the next ledge. Now your on a small ledge and you're looking over the wall and into the area where your team mates still are. Walk forwards and this ledge go up, so follow it up to the highest ledge. Follow the ledge around the corner. Now you're at the left side of the big gate. Jump up to climb onto the wall. Look down into the courtyard behind the big gate. Perhaps you'll see a few spiders disappear. Now you need to jump the ledges down until your all the way down on the ground of the courtyard behind the big gate. So follow the ledges down, they go around the corner to the left and you'll come on the ground in the left part of this courtyard. Go to the right.
There are two big pillars standing in central part of this courtyard and one of them will collapse. The second will remain standing. Go to the big gate. Behind it are your team mates waiting. You'll need to find a way to open up the gate. On your left lies a collapse pillar on the floor. It goes all the way to the stairs. Go up the stairs. Halfway up this stairs is a console. Try to "Use" it. The Main Power is of. Turn left. The stairs goes on, but it's blocked by a "door". You need to restore the Main Power to open up this door on the stairs and to open up the big gate.
Golden Starship 23: You're halfway up the stairs. Go onto the left "railing" of the second stairs and walk up to the wall. Turn left. Beneath you is a platform. This platform is "in the corner of the stairs". Jump down and walk forwards over the platform. Jump down onto the fallen pillar. Look a little to the right. You'll see the Golden Starship behind the stone. Well, go get it and then climb back onto the stone and onto the fallen pillar and jump back of it again.
Now go to the central part of this courtyard and look at the big pillar that's still standing up. Behind this pillar is a wall and behind that wall you'll see in Archway. You'll need to go through that Archway but you can not climb the wall in front of it. Against the left side of the pillar stands a "Idryllglicium Container". Go stand on a safe distance and shoot that container and the pillar will fall down and break through the wall. Now you can go to that Archway behind the wall. Do so and then turn left. You'll see a spider running away. Go through the next Archway and turn right. Left of the next Archway you'll find a Health Terminal, but if you do not need Health right now then save it for later. Go outside through the next Archway and you're in the second courtyard. Turn left and now make a QUICK SAVE before you go down the steps and make sure you have your favorite weapon ready. Go down the steps to the lower part of this second courtyard and take a few steps forwards and …SPIDER ATTACK. Well, kill all those spiders that come running at you. You can use the "Idryllglicium Containers" to kill a few but mostly you must shoot them yourself. When it's over then cross this courtyard to the door on the other side. This door will go open automatically, so go through it to enter a room. Pick up the "Idryllglicium Ammo" that's lying in the left corner and then go to the "Machine" that stands against the right wall. It's the "Auxillary Power Control". Scan it with your Tricorder and solve the Amplitude, Frequency, Offset puzzle to activate the Main Power. You know how to solve this kind of puzzle by know. When you're done then leave this room and go back to the first courtyard. On your way back, use that Health Terminal at the inside the Archways.
When you're back in the first courtyard go towards the big gate and……Yellow Spiders…..They are in front of you but also behind you. Kill them. The big gate is now open and your team mates are having a fight with a big spider. You can give them a hand if you want, but you don't have to. Your team mates will then join you in this courtyard.
Level 2.2: Drull Ruins: Byond the Stairs:

It's time to penetrate deeper into this ancient Idryll world. Go up the first flight of stairs again and Use that "Door Panel" console again. Now that "door", that is blocking the second stairs, goes open. Go up to the second level of this outside area. As soon as you're on top you're attacked by spiders. They come from the left corner. Kill them. On the wall, where those spiders came from, is a Health Terminal and to the right another flight of stairs is going up to the 3rd level of this outside area. Go to that Health Terminal, but before you reach it you'll hear Chell. Turn around. A big purple spider is attacking your team mates. Your team mates aren't very intelligent in dealing with this spider, so go kill it yourself. When you kill a purple spider then her baby's will come out of her dead body. So kill them to. You can then use that Health Terminal and also the Energy Terminal witch is located on the wall where that purple spider came out of.
Now go up the next stairs, but be careful because another yellow spider will come down. Kill it . When you're almost upstairs you'll get a warning from Chell. He tells you that "the path is highly unstable" and that you must scan it with your Tricorder set to "structural Integrity View Mode". When you are on top of this final stairs DO NOT GO TO THE LEFT. Just wait.
All right: Now you are on the 3rd level of this outside area and you have just got Chell's warning about the "unstable path". Stay where you are. You see a door, right in front of you in the left wall. This door won't go open. But it's the door your Team Mates must go through. Turn left. Scan the Tiled path with your Tricorder set at "Structural Integrity View Mode" and you'll see that most of the tiles turn red. Those red tiles are not good tiles to stand on to. You can jump from gray tile to the next gray tile to get across to the other side, but if you do that than you miss the Golden Starship:

Sorry this is in Dutch. But read on and I will explain it.
Golden Starship 24: I'll explain this by using the picture above. In order to get this Golden Starship you must shoot down ALL the RED TILES. When you do this, all that's left are the gray pillars. When you have shot all the Red Tiles down, a Crate will appear on the other side at "F". You can shoot all Red Tiles from up here, but the ones at the back you can best shoot when you are on Ledge "A". So shoot as much Tiles down as you can from where you stand now, then climb onto Ledge "A". Follow this ledge an when you're at "B" then shoot the last remaining Red Tiles down and then jump to "C", "D" and "E" and you're on the other side. Shoot Crate "F" and collect the Golden Starship. When you miss a Tile, then Crate "F" will not appear and you'll miss this Golden Starship.
If you also wants to get the "Secret Area" then you must jump down. When you do so then you have to kill a couple of spiders. You can then shoot the rest of the Red Tiles from below, but you need to watch out that they don't fall on your head. Shoot the crack in the wall to get out again. Climb back up the stairs and then climb onto ledge "A" that runs along the wall, follow it to "B", jump to "C", "D" and "E" and you're on the other side.
When you have the Golden Starship 24 you'll see a couple of Arches in front of you. Don't go there just yet, but instead turn right. You'll see a doorway. Go in there and turn right. You're in a kind of "Nesting" room. Kill the big yellow spider. Do not go to the door at the back here. Behind that door are your team mates waiting. You must open that door in order to let your team mates join you again. But we will not do this right now. If you do this now then changes are you can't get Golden Starship 25 and 26.
Golden Starships 25 and 26: So go outside again and then go right and go through the first Archway. You're now above the right side of that second courtyard where you turned on the main power. At your right is a big door that won't go open. Go through the second Archway. Do not go through the last Archway now, but instead, go to the left and climb onto the stone banister. Follow this banister to the wall and then turn left and look down. Beneath you, you'll see a "greenish" "balcony" Jump down to that "balcony" and turn around and grab Golden Starship 25. Turn around again an go to the upper left corner of this "balcony". Look down and jump down to the lower ledge. Follow this ledge to the corner. Turn left, look down and fall down to the next ledge. Follow this one around the corner. Now you'll see that little courtyard with the door were you turned Main Power on. Follow the ledge further and again around the corner and then you come onto a little platform in the next corner. Go to the end of this little platform and look down again. Do not follow this Upper Ledge any further. Again you'll see a lower ledge. Fall down onto this ledge and follow it until you can't go any further. Now you're in the back right corner of this courtyard and left of you is the door where you went through to turn on Main Power. Standing on this ledge you'll need to Crouch now and then turn on your night goggles. Do so and crawl to wall, turn right and get Golden Starship 26 out.
Crawl back out until you can stand up again, put your night goggles out and just jump down to the floor of the courtyard. You will take some damage but that's easily fix at the Health or the Energy terminal you will come a cross in a second. Well, you was here earlier, so follow the way back to the first courtyard with the big gate, and use the terminal at the first Archway. Go back to the 3rd level of this outside area and cross over Ledge "A" to get back to where you picked op Golden Starship 24 and then go back through doorway into the "Nesting" room and now go the "back" door and use the console to open up the door and to let your Team Mates in. Walk back into the "Nesting" room:
Level 2.3: Drull Ruins: Bridge:
No Golden Starships
Go out the "Nesting" room again and follow the path to the right again and now go through the last Archway. You're attacked by two Yellow Spiders. Kill them and then go to the console that's standing left of the big "gray" door. Try to activate this console. Nothing happens. Chell will take over. He will try to crack the security code with this console in order to get the gray door open. Walk away from Chell and Spiders will attack you. They come from all sides. Make sure the spiders do not hurt Chell while's busy at that console. Kill all the spiders. Then Chell will inform you that he's ready and that the door is open. Go to the door and it will go open now. Go through it, turn left and go through the next gray door and you're outside again. Walk to the end of the path. You can't go on because the Bridge isn't here. Turn around and walk back a bit. There's a console on your right. It's the "Bridge Control Panel" Activate it. Chell tells you that the "Power Relay" for this bridge must be somewhere on the other side. Go back to the beginning of the Bridge. No you'll see Forcefields in this bridge. They are "moving" from this side to the other side. You must cross this bridge and you must do so by staying onto the Forcefields. Make a QUICK SAVE first. Just wait until the first one is right in front of you and then step onto it and then onto the next one. Just keep going forwards and make sure you're always on a Forcefield and you should make it across just fine. Just don't hesitate. When you fall down, then reload your Quick Save and try again.
When you made it across then go through the gray door and follow the short corridor and then through the next door. Kill the purple spider and her baby's. You'll find the Health Terminal and the Energy Terminal hanging on the left wall here, so use them if you need them and then go through the next door and down the stairs. Kill the Yellow Spider and go down the next stairs. Then turn right, kill the 2 Yellow Spiders and then go to the "Bridge Auxillary Controls" console against the right wall here. Activate this console and now your Team Mates can cross the Bridge also. And so they do and they will join up with you here. The door at your left will go open and through it a Yellow Spider will jump at you. Kill it. You can pick up some Idryll ammo here also and then go through that door where the spider came through and go down the long stairs. When you're down, go left, forwards, right and right and down the next and final stairs. Turn left. 2 spiders will come at you, so kill them and then go forwards into the courtyard. Walk to the middle of this courtyard and then take a good look around.
Level 2.3: Drull Ruins: the Big Mother Spider:
1 Golden Starship
Golden Starship 27: You're now in the final courtyard of this big outside area of the Idryll ruins. Look around first. The courtyard is surrounded by high walls. On the left side you'll see a big gate. In the back left corner of this courtyard is a dead end alley. Go into this back alley an you'll find a door in the left wall. It appears that you can not open up this door. Go stand in front of this door anyway and press your "Use"-key. The door goes open , so get in the little room and grab the Golden Starship and go out again.
Now go to the big gate. On the left site of this big gate you'll find a Console. WAIT!!! MAKE A QUICK SAVE FIRST. Then activate this console and run away to the middle of the courtyard and then face the big gate again. The gate lowers and you'll see the BIG MOTHER SPIDER in her Lair. Her Life Bar comes up. Well, what can a say….You must Kill this little Mother Spider. She's not coming out her lair. Your Team Mates will help you. Mother fires big rounds of fire at you, so duck them. Also Mother calls in the help of her baby's. They come crawling out of the walls. You must kill them also. There's an Energy Terminal at the stairs you came down from. I suggest that you let your Team Mates deal with the little spiders and that you focus your fire at Mother. The Arc Rifle is a good weapon to let Mother's Life Bar go empty rather fast.
When Mother is dead and you have also killed all the other spiders then go into Mother's lair. At the back of the lair you'll find the small back door. Go through it and the "Exiting Area" screen appears. Walk on and onto the podium and then activate the console on the left side.
Level 3.1: Drull Ruins: GAS:
No Golden Starships:
QUICK SAVE. After a few seconds you'll here a voice. It says that an unknown life form has come in and that the "Basic Erradication Systems" shall be activated. The voice then starts a countdown: "Ten, Nine, Eight,…..Let me explain:
The elevator, that has brought the Hazard Team down, is in the center of this large and round room. Around the elevator are 4 big round Pillars and there are a few more of those round pillars in this room. There are 4 large doors in this room. All 4 are locked. One of those 4 doors is at the bottom of a ramp. The Idryll Security System (that's the voice you hear) considers the Hazard Team as an hostile Life Form and it will engage 4 big TURRETS that come sliding up and down along the 4 Round Pillars that are standing around the elevator platform. Each of those 4 Turrets has 4 guns, so they all can fire from 4 directions.
To disable those 4 Turrets you must shoot them. How? I told you at the beginning of this walkthrough that I'm not good in giving tactical hints. You have to figure this one out yourself. I just shot them with the secondairy fire of the Enhanced Compression rifle. Your team mates will give you a hand, but really, they are not very helpful. For the most time they are in your way. You'll need to be quick about it. There are no Life Bars coming up, but you CAN loose Team Mates here. When all 4 TURRETS are out then one of those 4 big doors will go open
Go through that door and you enter into a large hallway. This hallway goes to the left. So turn left and…WAIT. Do not go to the end and do not go through the square doorway at the end. Stay in this hallway and take a good look at the right wall. You'll see Tiles with Symbols drawn on it, on this right wall. Look at the 5 Symbol Tiles that runs from Top to Bottom, on the wall section with the two lamps in front of it.

Shoot these 5 Symbol Tiles, from TOP to BOTTOM and you'll here a sound. Remember the Top to Bottom order in witch you see these 5 Symbols and then go back into the large elevator room. Because you have shot those 5 Symbols on the wall, and did so in the right order, the door at the right of the elevator will no be open. Go through this door and you're in a side room. Go to the back. In the middle of the floor is a manhole cover and around it you'll see 10 tiles. Each tile has a symbol. Also there are several Lamps here. Well, you need to go stand on each of the 5 Symbol Tiles that you saw in the Hallway and you need to do this in the correct TOP to BOTTOM order in witch you shot those 5 tiles. Every time you step onto the right tile a Laser beam will come out one of the lamps and will hit one of the screws of the manhole cover. If you do this correctly then the manhole cover will "Explode" and the STAFF will come up. Grab the STAFF. You can fire Blue Energy Bolts with it and it also has a secondary firepower.
When you've got the STAFF, then go out again and back into the Elevator room and then into the hallway again and, to save time, pull out your Tricorder and set it to "Gas-Trace View Mode". Now go through the doorway at the back of this hallway.
Use your Tricorder to see from witch of the outlets the gas is coming. You must close those outlets with your Hand Phaser, but you can not hold both your Tricorder and your weapon at the same time, so you must do it one by one. Find an outlet from which gas is pouring out and then shoot the 3 holes to seal it. Then find the next one with your Tricorder and shoot it with your Hand Phaser and keep doing this until all 4 outlets are closed. When you're done the doors will go open again. Leave this room through the other door then the one you entered through and then go through the "green" door on the left. A narrow corridor. Follow it and the "Exiting Area" screen will appear. Walk on and ,after the turn, walk on to the next "green" door. LOADING:
Level 3.2: Drull Ruins: The Factory:
4 Golden Starships
You'll hear the computer voice again. It announces de next "counter measures" Go through the "green" door. Go enter into an area with, well, how shall we call this, Forcefields Walkways? Follow this first Forcefield walkway. It takes a turn to the right and then you'll see, almost at the end, two dead Exomorfs lying on the path.
Turn on this "Bio-Scan View Mode" and you'll see two vertical white lines, in the Arch in front of you, moving from the middle to both sides. You see a horizontal white line also, moving over the ground. Those white lines are Bio-Scanners and you do not want to touch them. You'll see a Console, on the right, just before the end of this walkway. You must reach that console. Just time it right and wait until the two vertical scanners are in the middle and then go past them, jump over the horizontal scanner and use the console. The Bio scanners shut down, but now your team mates can not reach you because of a new Forcefield that's now blocking the way. Also a few Exomorf will appear and you have to kill them. Do so and then walk to the end of this first Forcefield Walkway. STOP.
You're at the beginning of the "Factory". You see a kind of "Crane". The "crane" will repeatedly pulls out a Glass Tube and lift it up and then this Glass Tube goes to the right. Left of this "crane" you'll see another Forcefield Walkway, but this one is blocked by an Forcefield also. When you go there and then to the right to get in the corner behind the "crane", then you will have found a "Secret Area" where you can pick up a Idryll ammo bar. Go get it and then come back here to the end of the first Walkway and look at the "crane" again.
Golden Starship 28: Look to the right. On the right side of the "crane" you'll see 2 Glass Tubes lying on each other and in the wall there you'll see a crack.. Be careful because there's also a Turret hiding there. Shoot that crack in the wall to blow a hole in it. Then go there, crouch in and get the Golden Starship out and turn around again and quickly shoot the Turret that's hanging above to the right.
From now on use the QUICK SAVE OPTION OFTEN
When you have the Golden Starship and have disabled that Turret, go stand behind those two Glass Tubes witch are lying in front of the Golden Starship hole and look to what's going on here. Where the Turret was you'll see a "green" door. You must reach that door and go through it.. Look what is happening. The "crane" will bring Glass Tubes from the other side to this side and then those Tubes go horizontal and to the wall and then Up and then down through the floor. Climb over the Glass Tubes and then wait until the "crane" has dropped a Glass Tube at your feet. Step onto the Glass Tube and just wait for the tube to reach the wall and go up. When the tube is UP then it's on the right height of that "green" door, so quickly jump of and go through the "green" door.
Watch it, there's a Turret, high up on the left side of the "Conveyor belt". Disable it quickly. You need to go up onto the platform beneath that turret, so go to the "conveyor belt", wait for a Glass Tube to come up and step on to it, turn left and when the Tube is at the right height then jump of onto the platform. Walk to the other side and then look down. You'll see a Glass Tube standing against the right wall. A ramp is going down underneath this Tube to the wall you're standing on right now. Behind this Glass Tube you'll see an iron walkway going to the left. Behind this walkway is some kind of shaft.
Golden Starship 29: Jump down. You'll land behind that Glass Tube that's leaning against the wall. Turn around and go down the ramp to the wall. Turn right and go to the back wall. Turn left. You're in the corner now and in frond of a metallic like piece of the wall. Press your "Use"-key and this piece of the wall will go down. Get the Golden Starship out this secret area.
Go back up the ramp and then follow the iron walkway to the left. You come at the end of it. Turn right. You are now standing in front of a console. It's a "Security Panel". Don't activate it yet. Above this console is another platform and between that platform and this console is a kind of "crawl space". Climb onto this console and the climb onto the very edge of that platform above it. Then crouch and crawl into that crawl space and crawl to the very end. You've found a Secret Area. Grab the Idryll ammo and then crawl back to the beginning. Now you need to get onto that console, below you, again but when you do so then you're been spotted by a TURRET that is hanging high up on the ceiling to the right. It's hanging above a "green" door. That door is your Exit out of here. So, figure out a way to get down onto the iron walkway without getting killed by that Turret. And try to shoot that Turret down. When you've made it then go activate the console.
When you activate the "Security Panel" console, Cabins are going up and down through the shaft to the left of the iron walkway. On this side the Cabins are going down and on the other side, at the wall, the Cabins are going up. The "bottom" of the Shaft is protected by laser beams and that is also the case with the "ceiling of the shaft. Go to the other end of the iron path and wait for a Cabin to go up. Jump on top of it and when you're standing on top of an up going Cabin, turn to the wall of the shaft. You'll see Ledges on this wall. Wait until you see the 3rd Ledge coming up. On this Ledge you'll see a Idryll Ammo bar. Jump to that Ledge and grab this Idryll ammo. Now you need to go back down and get onto that platform that's above the "Security Panel" Console. Wait for a Cabin to come down and when it is beneath you then jump onto it. Wait until you can see that platform coming up and at the right moment jump to it and you will land on it.
If you weren't able to shot that Turret above the "green" door, then you must do so now and do it quickly. The Exit "green" door is on a "balcony" on your left. Cross over the left pipe and then go up the ramp and out through this door. You're really are outside now. Go to the right and to the end. There's a gap in the railing here and on your right you'll see a console. When you look to the left then you'll see another Forcefield Walkway. There's a little path going over this Forcefield walkway. Go activate that console on your right and then go stand in the gap of the railing again. WATCH. One of those Cabins is coming straight at you. It will stop for a moment, just in front of you, and then it goes to the left and it will pass over that Forcefield Walkway.
Golden Starship 30: Have you seen that Cabin going when you've activated that console? Well that's your ticket out of here. Activate that console again and then go stand in the gap of the railing again. Wait for the Cabin to come at you and when it's hanging in front of you, JUMP TO IT and you'll be on top of it. Then the Cabin takes you to the left and it will go over the Forcefield Walkway. When it's over the Forcefield Walkway JUMP onto this Forcefield Walkway. You're on top of this Forcefield Walkway now. Follow it all the way to the back at the wall. It's quite a long way and the walkway takes a couple of turns. At the end, Grab the Golden Starship and then go of this walkway at the right side.
You are now on a ledge on the right side of the Forcefield Walkway. Walk into the dark corner and grab the 100 Shielding. Walk back towards the walkway. Kill the tiny spiders and then go onto the platform that's hanging under the Forcefield walkway. There are two ladders. Climb up the front ladder and go through the "green" door. Follow the short narrow corridor and go through the next "green" door. Quickly disable the Turret above your head.
Again you're on a Forcefield Walkway. You'll see a very thick pipe in the distance. Walk to there. When you get to that pipe you're in the middle section of this Forcefield Walkthrough and when you enter it this section will be closed by Forcefields, on both sides. You're locked in now. On the left side stands a console and in the floor of this section you'll notice 4 manhole covers. Look to the right. Now you'll see that there are two of those very thick pipes and byond them you'll see a "Bridge". Is a same kind of Bridge as you cross to get to the Mother Spider. You can't cross it now. Go to the console and scan it with your Tricorder until the "Modulation" is ready. Those 4 manhole covers turns out to be 4 little columns and they all come up now. Gas is pouring out those columns. Set your Tricorder to "Gas-Trace View Mode" and find the Gas outlets on those 4 columns where the gas comes out and seal those outlets with your Hand Phaser. When you have done this the 4 columns will go back down and those two Forcefields will be gone.
Golden Starship 31: No go to that "bridge" between the two thick pipes. Cross this bridge by staying on the moving Forcefields, just like you did at the first bridge that brought you to Mother Spider. On the other side of this bridge you'll be on a dead end platform. Activate the "Security Console" here. Chell will report that you have open up a door somewhere else. A few Exomorfs will then cross the bridge. Kill them. To the right of this Security Console is a round platform. Go stand on it and then LOOK UP. Above your head you'll see an oval "circle" with a crack in it. SHOOT IT and…the round platform that you stand up goes up and it will take you through the oval "circle" that you just shot. When it brought you inside, get of onto the edge. Turn around to find the Golden Starship here. Go grab it and then just go stand on the circle again and let it take you down again.
Now go back over the bridge, it's save to do so now, and go follow the Forcefield Walkway to the right, kill a few Exomorfs and go through the "green" door at the end. Follow the short narrow corridor. The "exiting Area" screen appears. Go to the next door. LOADING
Go through the door. You're back in the large elevator room where you started. The next large door here is now open. It's on the right side of the elevator platform. You're team mates are there, fighting of a few Exomorfs. Go help them. If you need Health and Energy then you'll find both Terminals at this door. When you're done then go through this doorway into the next large hallway. Walk forwards between the columns. There's a large wall painting on the wall and stairs go up at the right and the left side of this wall painting. Chell is wandering if this wall painting is Idryll.
Golden Starship 32: Turn left. You'll be looking at the left wall and on this wall you see 5 Symbol Tiles. They're the same Tiles as you saw before. Shoot those 5 tiles again from Top to Bottom. The wall will then move backwards. Go in there and then through the doorway at your left and grab the Golden Starship out.
Go back out and now go up the stairs. You come at a "green" door behind the big wall painting. Go through the door and follow the short corridor to the next "green" door. Exiting Area and LOADING.

Go through the door and then WAIT! You're at the beginning of a large control room. Right in front of you a short stairs is going up to the main room and on the left wall you'll find the Health Terminal and the Energy Terminal. Make a QUICK SAVE before going on. In a moment you'll need to keep Chell alive. Go up the stairs and then to the right and to the middle of this room. You're now standing an a kind of manhole cover. To the left is a large console and there's a stairs going up to the "balcony". On that "balcony" is the "green" exit door out of this room, but it's "red" now. Go to the large console and…..Before you can reach it the Security System activates the TURRETS. Those Turrets are in the ceiling. There are 3 Turrets. Chell's Life Bar will come up. You need to protect Chell because Chell most reach a console, up on the "Balcony", to shut down the Security System. So you need to shoot those TURRETS. Two of them are above the "Balcony and the other is above the entrance door. At first only the two turrets above the "balcony" will shoot at you and your team. When you shoot a turret then it will temporarily stop firing for a few moments.
Quickly, shoot those two Turrets that now are firing and Chell will go up the stairs to the Balcony and then he'll duck away into the right corner. Follow him up the stairs to the Balcony. The Turret above the entrance door will start to fire now. Silence it. Chell runs to the other end of the balcony and starts working on the console there. Now all 3 Turrets begin to fire again. You need to silence them again to prevent them hitting Chell until you hear Chell saying that he has disabled the Security System. So you'll probably need to go down again to get a good shot at all 3 Turrets. Chell will also tell you that he has found the missing Idryll archeological team. Go back onto the balcony and then through the "green" door into the next room and walk towards those 2 Idryll people.
Turn left. You'll be looking into the lower part of this room and there you'll see an elevator platform in the back left corner. Before going down the stairs to that elevator you can find a secret area here. It's in de upper left corner of this room behind the console on the left side. You can pick up some Shielding there. Go get it and then go down the stairs and onto the elevator platform. Push the button and you go down. It's a long ride down but eventually the elevator stops.
From the left a couple of Exomorfs come running towards you. Kill them and then go of the elevator and cross the little "bridge". Two Turrets will come in action. There's one hanging straight in front of you and there's one on the left. Disable them. You're in a short corridor. The door at the left end of this corridor is the "green" door and the door on the right end is a "red" door. In front of the little "bridge" is a short dead end corridor
Golden Starship 33: Go into the dead end and turn on your night goggles. In the right corner of this dead end you'll will notice a shaft. Crouch into this shaft. Its a short shaft and it takes a left turn. So follow it and grab the Golden Starship and then crawl back out again.
Go back into the corridor and now shoot the red door out and grab the Idryll ammo out that secret area. Now go to the "green" door on the other side of this corridor. When you reach this door it will go open and a couple of Exomorfs will come out. Kill them and also the Exomorf behind you. Use the Health and the Energy Terminals that are hanging on the right wall and then go through the door and through the next one. Make a Quick Save now.
The Basher:
You're now in a large room that's divided into two parts. There is a bridge that you must cross to get to the other part of this room. But the bridge is Up. You'll find the "Bridge Control Panel". Do not use this panel now. Turn right. You'll se a "green" door. In front of this door is an Energy Terminal. Go there and….A big monster will break through the "green" door. This is the BASHER and you must kill it. His Life Bar comes up. Well, use what ever strategy you prefer to kill this Basher. The ARC rifle is a good weapon to use here.
Golden Starship 34: When you have killed the Basher walk to the door were he came out. Don't go into his lair but turn left to the opening in the rail. A short ladder is going down to the two big fans that are in the floor here. Climb down the ladder and then walk over the round edge of the first fan to the second. Then go to the back wall and turn around. On the back spoke of this second Fan you'll find the Golden Starship. Go get it and then go back to the ladder and climb up again.
Now go activate that "Bridge Control Panel". The bridge will come down. Cross it and kill the Big Exomorf that will break out the wall. When done turn left and go through the "green" door.
