Information Gathering 2
1 Golden Starship.
Level 1.1: Debriefing
After this debriefing just wait until you get a "call" from Chell. Chell is in the shuttlebay, working on the shuttle that will bring you and your mates to the Attrexian space station. He wants to see you. Leave this room through one of the doors and you're on the Bridge. There's no time pressure so you can take all the time you need. Find the Turbo Lift here and go in and push the button. LOADING.
Level 1.2: Shuttlebay:
Get out the Turbo Lift and go right and then again right into the main corridor. Follow it all the way to the end. Go through the "Gargobay" door. You are now in a little Cargo room. Against the rack, that's standing against the back wall, you'll see a "Phase Convertor". Grab it and take it with you. Leave this room and go into the first right corridor and then through the door into the control room of the shuttlebay. Go out through the door straight ahead of you and you're on the catwalk above the middle shuttlebay platform. Chell brings the shuttle up. Go down to Chell by climbing down the ladder or take the little lift.
Golden Starship 14: When you're down DO NOT TALK TO CHELL. Just look at what he's doing. Chell, has open up the "Nacelle Hatch in the wing of the shuttle. Take good notice of where this hatch is on the wing. Then turn to the right and walk forwards to the nose of the shuttle. Turn right again. You'll see two crew members standing by the console of the first shuttle platform. Go to them and listen in on their conversation. After a while the big outer doors will go open and a shuttle comes flying in. It's not in anyway useful to watch this, it's just a bit of fun. Turn around and no go the second shuttle that's standing on the back shuttle platform. Go stand before the wing and make sure you are standing before the right spot of where the "Nacelle Hatch" is. Press your "Use"-key to open up this Nacelle hatch.
You'll see a broken "Phase Convertor" in it. Press your "Use"-key again to replace this one with the one you have taken from the cargo bay. You'll hear a sound. Go to the back of this shuttle and…..the "backdoor" is open now, so go in and grab the Golden Starship.
Now go back to Chell. Again do not speak with him just yet. If you do so a timer will start. Let's try it out first. Go to the back of the shuttle and go in through the "backdoor". There are two small doors that will bring you into the "drivers seat" so to speak. It doesn't matter through which door you go, both will bring you into the cockpit. But in order to tell it right, go through the door on your right and then left and left again into the cockpit. In the cockpit are a lot of console. Go stand facing the chairs and then turn left. When you have spoken with Chell then you'll need to come back here and then you'll need to scan the very first console on this left side. Well, now you now where to find this console, so go back out and back to Chell.
Make a QUICK SAVE first now and then "Use" Chell. Chell starts talking. DO NOT WAIT but immediately go back into the shuttle and into the cockpit and go stand before that console that I have pointed out earlier. Get your Tricorder out. Chell talks on and on and then he shall say that there's Plasma leaking out of the shuttle and that you must stop this or otherwise the shuttle, and the Enterprise, will explode. Quickly scan the console and solve the "Amplitude, Frequency, Offset puzzle. Remember that a timer is running. If you don't solve this one in time than it's Game Over. Try again by loading your last Quick Save. O….I forgot to mention this the first time you had to solve this kind of puzzle, but every time you need to restart the puzzle, the lines will be a little different. When you solve this puzzle in time then you have "saved the day". Go out the shuttle and….
