STARTREK
ELITE FORCE 2: DEVIANCE
Door: Louis Koot
Chapter 3
Reassignment (Starfleet Academy)
There aren't any Golden Starships to be found in this mission
Level 1: Telsia
Stemmens, a Starfleet official, has broken up the Hazard Team and reassign each of its members. Starfleet has no need for an Hazard Team in the Alpha Quadrant. Munro, Telsia, Chell and Chang are standing in the corridor talking about their predicament. Telsia says that she shall make an appeal by Starfleet Command to keep the Hazard Team together.
This is a very boring part of the game. It's not in anyway exciting and there's no one to kill. After the conversation in the corridor, Telsia, Chell and Chang walk away. Just wait a while, or go talk with Chell and Chang for a moment. After a little while you get a call from reception that there's a visitor for you at the reception desk in the main hall. Go to either side of the corridor and go in the Turbo lift, push the button to go to the ground level. When the lift has stopped go out and then take a right turn and walk through the big hallway to the glass doors.
Wait here. After a few seconds you get the order to go to the Headmasters Office. You're standing in front of the reception desk. Turn around and go out through the glass doors opposite the reception desk. You'll enter into the garden. Across the garden you'll see two large buildings. Between those two large buildings is the central pond. The Headmaster's Office is in the left building, so cross through the garden to that left building and go in there. Take the turbo lift up and then go to the end of the corridor and through the door on your right. Walk to the Headmaster who's sitting at her desk and you get your orders. Munro's job is it to teach young cadets the noble art of "Small Unit Tactics". Go out into the corridor again and walk to the Turbo lift. You get a message from Telsia. She wants to meet you in the garden. Take the Turbo lift down and go out into the garden. Follow the path to the left. Between the two buildings is the central pond. There are two bridges going over the pond. You'll find Telsia standing on one of the bridges. Walk to her and "use" her to speak with her.
If you want to see the outcome of each answer than make a QUICK SAVE first. But the best possible answer is: "It won't work. We both need Starfleet or we'll get stir-crazy". What ever answer you choose, after this cutscene there will be a LOADING.
Level 2: Small Unit Tactics:
How quickly time passes. It's two years later and Munro is now Professor Munro. Munro and his Klingon student Korban are on a Klingon Starbase, on the border with the Romulan Empire. Their mission is abruptly broken when a group of Romulans attack the Starbase with the intention to take control over it. Facing an overwhelming amount of Romulans, Munro and Korban must escape the Starbase before the Romulans has gain full control over it.
Let me tell you right away that this is an Holo-Exercise that Munro has created for his student Korban to teach him the fine arts of "Small Unit Tactics". You start in an elevator and you have the use of 3 weapons and your Tricorder. Your 3 weapons are the Hand Phaser, the Compression Rifle and the Enhanced Compression Rifle. Except from the Hand Phaser all of your weapons have an Alternative Firepower.
When the elevator stops the door will go open automatically and you see a corridor. The corridor is filed with crates and boxes and there's a door on the other site. Also there's a short side corridor. There are Romulans in the corridor and they start to fire at you and Korban as soon as the elevator door goes open. That stupid Klingon will run into the corridor and starts firing at the Romulans. What ever your opinion about this game is, you can not say that the intelligence of the A. I is very great. Go help Korban kill the Romulans. Korban shall run to the door at the other side of the corridor and he will try to open up this door. You have to provide cover fire for Korban while he's attempting to open this door. Korban will tell you that he can't open the door and that you have to find an other way to get on the other side of this door. (since when give students orders to their teachers?). Walk back to the elevator. In the left wall, just before the elevator, is an Service Duct Hatch. Korban will point it out to you and he shall open this hatch for you. When he has done this, crouch into the Service Ducts and follow it to the left. Watch out for the fire pipes. Just time it right to get past these fire pipes. After the fire pipes you take a left turn and then again a left turn to the hatch. Open the hatch and get out of the shaft.
You enter into the room behind the door that Korban couldn't open in the corridor. Kill all the Romulans here. You must open up the door from this side. When you facing the door you'll find an Energy Terminal on the right wall and a "broken up Door Panel" in the right corner of the door. Scan this door panel with your Tricorder and solve the "Connection Puzzle". This is your first "Connection Puzzle" and this one is very easy. Just connect the 3 blue circles with each other by rotating the two white pieces of the line to restore power to the door. During the rest of the game you will have to solve more of this kind of Connecting Puzzle and the get increasingly more difficult. This first one is very easy.
When you have solve this little puzzle then the door goes open and Korban joins up with you. Now the room will get filled with Romulans again, so go and take them all out. Then go up the stairs and then to the left. The elevator is coming up and it will bring 3 Romulans. The elevator doors go open. Kill the 3 Romulans. On the left wall, just before the elevator, you'll find the Health Terminal, so use it if you need it and then go into the elevator. Korban will join you and he shall press the button and this elevator will bring you down.
Go out the elevator and kill the 2 or 3 Romulans in this short corridor. Korban will then open up the next door. Once again he will ask you to cover him while he is busy open up this door, but I have not seen any Romulans during this time. When Korban has open up the door step through it and you enter the Round Klingon Bath'let Chamber. Grab the Bath'let from the pedestal. Now you can leave the rest up to Korban. He must kill all the Holo-Romulans that appears in this room, but he's very clumsy about it. So you could give him a hand. You can use the Bath'let or your firepower. When all the Romulans are killed then this holo-programm ends. Go through the gray Holo-deck door and through the next one….
Cutscene: You meet Captain Jean-Luc Picard who's in a conversation with Stemmens. Jean-Luc is very interested in your previous function as leader of the Hazard Team. Jean-Luc says that he could use such a Hazard Team on his ship, the USS Enterprise-E, and he promise you to restore the Hazard Team. End of this mission.
