REALM
OF THE DEAD
The beginning of this Sublevel
In
this Sublevel Lara will learn how to climb, it’s a very short Sublevel. Follow
this doorway, then go left from the stairs until you see a fire above a next
staircase.
Leave through this exit
Go right here
Further run right-left until the doors will open again.
These doors will also automatically open
There
is a lot of smoke in this hallway but never mind, just continue. The ship will
now turn right and some burning rubbish will roll into the direction where Lara
is running. You now have to press B7 for a fast run to the right and avoid being
hit by the boxes.
Run here!
Amanda
is still repeating: All personnel: abandon
ship.
And that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
Jump
up to the wall (left):
A ledge to jump to
Now
vault up again: there are wheels where can have a grip upon.
Jump to these wheels
Now
shimmy to a ladder on your right and climb all the way up.
But some platform is standing in your way, so you have shimmy right again to the
other wheels on your right.
Then, shimmy left to the ladder on your left right above the platform.
From these wheels you can shimmy to the ladder on your left
You’re now on the second ladder
Climb
all the way to the top of the ladder.
From here shimmy to the left wheels
Vault
up three times.
Three jumps to get higher up
Climb
around the corner on your left and pull up.
You’re safe now
Now
you’re ready for another climb again. Proceed forward (climb over a high step)
until you will reach a ladder on the right wall.
Climb this ladder
Here
at the top you will have to jump up twice to the wheels.
Hang from the wheels
Then
climb up to your right to the next set of wheels (diagonally) as high as you
can.
This is the highest point
Here
you have to climb up right-left-right and shimmy to the narrow ledge on your
left.
Reach this narrow ledge
Down
on your left you see a narrow beam. This is where you’re heading to. So shimmy
left until you’re right above the beam and let go.
This is the spot from where you drop down to the metal beam
Now
carefully turn around and walk all along the narrow beam (you can adjust with
LAS but not focus the Camera).
Walk along the beam
Jump
up twice, pull up and a Cut Scene will start:
The ship is going down and a chopper will leave.
The ship is sinking down
Natla
is hanging from a rope connected to the chopper. She throws the Jewel Lara found
with Thor’s Gauntlet into the sea and Lara jumps into the water to get it
back. The chopper is leaving now and
Lara saved her Jewel from the sea.
Lara recuperated her Jewel
Now
we’re going to the next Level: COASTAL THAILAND.
You have an option to select between Jungle Shorts and Jungle Pants. No I’m a
bit sick of Lara’s bum and bare legs so I would go for the Pants. But it is up
to you how you want to see her.
Select Lara’s outfit in the Jungle of Thailand
Now
a Cut Scene will start:
Lara: None of the ruins are visible from
here. And if Father did explore this site,
(Lara talks with Zip via the Computer)
I
see no sign of it yet. I still don’t see howThailand
is connected to Vikings or ruins under the Med, or hell, even Avalon for that
matter.
Lara:
Helmheim, Zip. Various myths use different
names, but they all apply to the same remnants of the ancient world. One of
those remnants is still alive. I would
hate to be Amanda if Natla ever gets free. I would hate to be any of us.
Now
a new Journal Entry is unlocked, this Level has finished and you’re ready to
go to Thailand
