Stand
before the first pair of cylinders and jump over them. Crouch under the second
pair.

here shoot the bats in Room 3. Then jump over the third pair of grinding
cylinders.

Enter
the room and look down from the edge. As you can see the mechanism in this room
looks very similar to that of the 2nd Room but nothing is moving. It
seems like we will have to get down from this ledge to the floor of the Room.
Meantime notice a giant spider near the right corner where the weights are. Aim
at it and shoot it from here first. You will see a red target circle moving but
won’t see the spider. But you’ll get it inflated anyway.

Explore
the ledge for goodies first. Find a rounded jar in the right corner of the ledge
containing Treasure #25. Then in the left corner pick up a Health Potion.

Now
Lara has to do everything in opposite sequence of what she did in Room 2. Jump
up to one of the chains (the one on the right is best) and shimmy left until
you’re hanging right above the upper horizontal bar of the central mechanism.

Drop
to the bar and shimmy left until you are facing the narrow ledge of the high
weight.

Swing/jump
to the narrow ledge on the weight. When Lara hangs from the narrow ledge the
weight will lower to the floor.

Drop
to the floor and turn around. Two giant spiders are emerging from a higher hole
and drop down. Take a heavy weapon (Submachine Guns or Shotgun) and get rid of
them both. Now you have three empty spider hulls lying on the floor (fortunately
you noticed the first one from above).

we’ll have to find out what is jamming this mechanism? Walk around and notice
a block lying in front of one of the gears that seems moveable. Pull it out and
the gears will start rotating again. The
full mechanism is back in operation.

Left
of the block there is a doorway blocked by some rocks. Pull/push the block against
the rocks.

Jump
to the rock and vault up to the top of the rocks. Pull up. From here you already
spot a giant spider. You can’t reach it from here though.

Next to the rocks

Pull up
Go
down three big steps and a giant spider will attack from the ceiling. Return to
the top and finish it off with your Shotgun.
Then return down and at the end of the hallway find your 26th
Treasure Lying on the floor.

Switch to pistols and keep shooting at the giant spider on the opposite side until it explodes. Just in case, you know...

Your
business is finished here although it seems you will have to return to this area
later on. Return to the 3rd Room.
Just like in Room 2 you’ll have to go to the upper ledge. When coming down
from the weight you already noticed there is no narrow ledge in the middle to
jump to.
So the helpful block will come in handy again. Pull/push the block in front of
the spot where one of the weights is touching the floor. Jump to the block, wait
for the weight to arrive again and jump to the upper narrow ledge.

Go
up with the weight and at its peak jump backward to one of the rotating bars of the
central mechanism. This is exactly identical to what you did in Room 2 to get to
the ledge. Grab the chain and land on the ledge.
Passing the three sets of rolling cylinders is a bit more difficult (now isn’t
that typical?). Besides rolling the upper set is also going back and forth now.
Stand before the first set of cylinders and wait for the upper set to go back
all the way. Then jump over and immediately duck and crouch to the second floor
set.

Wait for the upper set to go backwards, stand up and jump over the second floor set. Then jump up to the bar.

Swing/jump
to the second bar which is hanging between two fixtures. You may end up standing
on the bar. The reason for going down to the 3rd Room was to restore
the mechanism that controls the swinging of the 3rd hammer.
Wait for the hammer to approach and jump to it.

You’ll end up hanging from the narrow
ledge
Just
like with the second hammer shimmy all the way right around the corner and when
the hammer reaches the opposite wall notice the narrow ledges on the wall. Have
one more swing and when nearing the wall prepare the sideward jump to your
right.

Prepare a side jump to a narrow ledge
Jump
and hang from the upper narrow ledge. Deny the lower narrow ledges: they lead
nowhere. Shimmy left around the corner from the moment the hammer pounds and
starts going backwards.

Shimmy now!
Drop
to the floor and walk into the hallway until you hear the Autosave Ping.
