CRAFTED SKULL
Now you have all the four Keys that each need to be placed in the
corresponding slots of the octagonal prism.
Start
with the Silver Key.
Take the Silver Key
Place it in the Silver slot
The
camera will turn to the Throne whose back is facing the Silver slot but the
first time you won’t really see what happens.
Then
you will hear the sound of a giant spider behind you. Immediately switch to the
Spear Gun and finished it off with two or three shots.

Place
the Golden Key into its slot. Now I could see what happens to the corresponding
Throne: a stone like a boot behind the Throne sinks into the floor.

Before
placing the Red Key into its slot let’s first have a look at the adjacent
Throne where we see a boot stone sticking out of the floor and a wide cog in
front of the octagon. There is a rail running from the stone behind the Throne
to the octagonal face with the red receptacle. Now you can place the Red Key
upon the receptacle.

Now
let’s finally repeat this for the Turquoise key and keep a good eye on what is
really happening.

So
what is your conclusion? Obviously the stones were blocking the Thrones to be
moved to the cog along the rail and now they are all unlocked.
So
let’s move the four Statues towards the octagon. You can start with any of
them.
Stand
in front of a Statue, grab the handhold and it push it along the rail until the
end.

Repeat
this for the three other ones. After the 4th Statue is in position
you will hear a rattling sound. Run around the room and notice how the door you
entered (where your bike is still waiting) has reopened.

It
is very tempting to hop on the bike now and leave the room, but... what about
these two pressure pads in front of the door we saw before? Obviously they need
a weight on each of them for something to happen. So let’s put the bike on one
of the pressure pads and let Lara stand on the second one.
Look
at the octagonal table when Lara’s pressure pad is lowering. The table is then
rising and now we also understand what these cogs were for: they lead the table upwards
to the lower end of a rock hanging from the ceiling.
Then
you will see how an opening is revealed under the raised prismatic table.

Observe
the opening and notice that a ramp is leading down to a tunnel.
Hop
on the bike and drive down the ramp through the dark curving tunnel. Drive from
three consecutive staircases and stop by the stairs that lead upwards. There is
a brown jar standing in the right corner and we know that this kind of jar
usually hides a Treasure. Get off the bike and break the jar for Treasure #43.

There is your 43rd Treasure
Drive
up the stairs and notice a pile of rocks on top hiding a deep pit. On the left
side there is a dark rock that may act like a ramp.
Return
to the bottom and drive backwards for a good distance facing the black ramp. Now
go at full speed up to the stairs and the ramp to fly over the gap to the
other side.

Get
off your bike and notice a similar jar on the left side near the rocks. Break
it open to get your 44th Treasure.

Drive
from the stairs on this side and after a few bends the tunnel is blocked again.
You have to stop the bike and the camera will automatically lead you from a
human skeleton left to a crafted Skull of a beast.

Dismount
from the motorcycle and pick up the Skull.
Go to the Skull
Put it in the sack
Jump
up to the ledge, pull up and you will automatically crouch. On the opposite side
you’ll hang from the ledge.

Let
go to the opposite side to the floor and immediately notice your familiar
Treasure jar on the left. Break it open and get your 45th Treasure.

Continue
through the tunnel, go from the stairs towards the narrow lit opening and a Cut
Scene will start. Lara notices various Runes on the right wall telling a story
and translates it into her
dictaphone:
“The
Midgard Serpent, Jormungandr, that lies on the bottom the ocean, encircling all
the world. The coming of Ragnarok.
Jorgmungandr
thrashes beneath the sea, flooding the land and vomiting its deadly poison into
the air.
The final battle of the Gods...
Thor
kills Jormungandr with his hammer, Mjolnir, but then he retreats only nine steps
before he succumbs to the Serpent’s venom.
On
the left wall at the foot of the stairs spot a Treasure Jar down in the left
corner. Retrieve your 46th Treasure.

Go
further down from more stairs until your reach the ledge in front of the pool.
From the previous Runes Lara now understands that the water of the pool is
poisonous and that she should not fall into that pool. Lara
takes more notes on her Dictaphone when she sees the waterfall.
Jormungandr, the Midgard Serpent...
All
these ancient sites inspired underworld myths in later cultures...
perhaps
because they were all protected by the walking dead.
On
the left side of the ledge take a Health Potion.
When
Thralls attacks press yellow (interact) to stomp Thralls and prevent them from
rising again. You can then jump upon them (they will explode) or running around
and try to shoot them with your pistols.

Now
better choose a convenient second Weapon and I would go for the Shotgun. Just in
case...
Start
going around the pool to your right and soon you will see a first Zombie
materializing (is this a Human Thrall?). The tactics are easier with these guys.
When close enough press yellow (Interact) and Lara will treat him with a leg
Karate stomp. After each stomp (it takes 3 or 4) the Zombie will lie on the
ground and when you press yellow again Lara will jump upon him and he will
explode.

When
you jump over the small river more Zombies will keep appearing – perhaps 7 or
8, I can’t count them. When in a mêlée keep stomping each of them until an
Adrenaline sequence will start where everything becomes in slow motion and a bit
blurry. You can hurt the guys easily now.

you get all of them exploded.

whole pool area is free from monsters now and you may continue anti-clockwise
around the pool until you hear an Autosave ping. Then also save your Game.
