Part 1
THE FIRST MAYAN CALENDAR

The beginning: a Journal Entry is unlocked

The circle is in fact a Mayan Calendar. Go to the center and place the Jaguar’s Head from the Temple on the headless statue (when the yellow hand appears press B1).

Approach the central statue with the lever

Place the Jaguar’s head on the statue

Observe the Mayan Calendar: it is composed of 3 rings that can be separately moved. The central part on which the Jaguar statue is placed has a single stained tile on top of one of its 12 segments and cannot be moved.
There are 3 rings each composed of segments and the rings can rotate. Each ring contains a similar stained tile like the central part has, but surrounded by a larger tile in a darker color, forming a panel. The goal is to align these three stained panels with the central tile. The panel of the outer ring is already aligned with the central tile. The goal is now to align them with the panels of the inner and middle rings.

The lever of the Jaguar statue moves the inner and middle ring together – for the time being. On one of the segments of the outer ring a statue with a golden skull is placed. This statue moves the outer ring: stand behind it and press B1 to hold the handles.

The panel of the outer ring is aligned with the central tile

Controlling the rotation the inner and middle ring

Controlling the rotation of the outer ring

Start with the lever of the Jaguar statue and align the panel of the middle ring with that of the outer ring. You will hear a click when the panels are aligned. The inner ring is moving too, but that doesn’t matter.

Align the panels of the middle and outer rings

The Jaguar statue has also rotated the inner ring. To separate the rotation of the inner ring from the middle ring go to the Skull statue and rotate the outer ring counter clockwise. The ring will rise until the rotation capacity stops.

Raising the inner ring separates it from the middle ring

Now the Jaguar handle will only rotate the inner ring. The middle ring is set steady. Hence, go to the Jaguar statue and align the middle panel with the central tile and the panel of the middle ring. You will hear a similar click with the correct alignment.

The central tile aligned with the panels of inner and middle rings

Finally replace the panel of the outer ring with the Skull statue which will lower the inner ring to its original position causing a complete alignment of the three panels and the central tile.

The alignment is completed

A Cut Scene will then show how the blocks on the lower plaza are completely rearranged (but I have no idea what the purpose of this rearrangement is).

The rearrangement of the blocks down below

Return under the opening you came in through where the corpses are still lying. Two Panthers will attack. Take your heavy gun and stand on the nearby block formation from where you can shoot them safely.

Shoot the Panthers

Return to the bike, turn away from the temple and follow the path on your right leading to a manmade ramp of logs held together by ropes.
Get off the bike and walk to the edge of the log ramp. Look down to see a pit with two huge logs full of deadly spikes.

Stop by the ramp

Get off the bike and look down from the ramp

Return to the bike, drive backwards and align with the ramp on the right side. Start the engine and keep accelerating so you can cross the deadly pit along the right side of the beam ramp.

Start here

Cross the pit

Land on the opposite side

Continue along the road until you soon will meet another deadly pit. Follow along the left narrow road to cross the pit. At the end you will get down to the next section of the road.

The second pit

Drive along the left narrow path

Behind the pit you’ll see a ruined stone construction where the road turns right. Ride to the front of the steps and notice two jars. Get off the bike and smash them. One contains Treasure #10.

Approach the stairs

Smash the jars and collect your 10th Treasure

The steps lead through a tunnel. Drive through and turn right to stop in front of a large staircase leading down through an arch to the lower plaza (the one you saw where the blocks were rearranged). Go down the stairs and smash the two jars on the right side in front of the tunnel. One contains Treasure #11. Perhaps that is why the blocks had to be rearranged? To open the staircase, I don’t know?

Stop here and step from the bike looking at the staircase leading down to the plaza

Smash the jars for Treasure #11

Continue through the arch and at the end of the next staircase 2 more jars are on your right. The brown one contains Treasure #12.
Turn right find another brown jar in the right corner of the plaza. Get Treasure #13.
Turn left and find a rounded jar around the corner: filled with air. Left by the corners there are two more jars. The brown one is containing Treasure #14. It’s raining water drops and Treasures here.

Jars and Treasures

Turn left from the corner and sprint past the central rearranged block construction to the corner where you will find a brown jar containing Treasure #15.

Sprint past the central arrangement

The jar in the corner contains Treasure #15

Your job is finished here. Return up to the steps to your bike and drive through the opposite arch. Follow a narrow path left leading upwards. At the highest point of the road you will see a jar on your right. Get off the bike and smash the jar for Treasure #16.

Drive through the arch

Follow a narrow path left going upwards

Your 16th Treasure is hidden in this jar

Walk a bit further passing a tree on your right and notice 2 jars. The straight brown one contains your Treasure #17.

Smash the jars and collect Treasure #17

Return to where you parked your bike near Treasure #16, turn around and return from this path to the exit of the arch.

The other end of the arch

Turn around and go straight to a 3rd Ruin. When approaching the ruin a Panther will attack. Do a few rounds with your motorcycle and run over him. Three runs will get him to hell.

Say bye-bye to this Panther

When you reach the ruins get off your bike and ascend the stairs.

Get off your bike here

Ascend the stairs

Go through an arch and watch a Temple wall: Panthers and looters are fighting each other. Let them play Cowboys and Indians.

Looters and Panthers are fighting each other

There is a block in front with a Health potion. Down below the stairs there’s a looter that you can target and shoot with your Pistols. OK that’s one less for the coming up fight.
Now it’s time to go down. If you go down from the stairs on your right side a looter will be in front of you. Take care of him with the Pistols.
Just find your way around and find a couple of jars of which the brown one contains your Treasure #18.

Shoot the looter after getting down

Retrieve Treasure #18 from the brown jar

Now you can go to the central block and take the Health Potion. From here you can shoot the looter on the opposite wall.

Jump up to the central block

Take the Health Potion

Shoot the looter from here

Right of this spot you can run to a corner where you will find a second Health Potion.

This Health Potion was well hidden

On the right side of the stairs there is a pole with golden bands that you can pick up.

Pick up this decorated pole

Run up the stairs and kill another Panther (drop the pole first).

Keep shooting from the stairs

Another looter appears on top of the stairs that you can shoot but he will disappear behind some stone construction. Get behind the couple of pillars and finish the job. Where the guy fell down there is a jar containing your Treasure #19.

Shoot the looter

Get behind the stone pillars and finish off the job

A jar containing Treasure #19

There is another Health Potion on the edge on top of the staircase you can grab.

Take this Health Potion

Go down the stairs and pick up the wooden pole again that you dropped when fighting the Panther. Run up the stairs with the pole and go to the right side of a pillar with a hole where you can stick in the pole. Jump to the pole, pull up and jump to the top of the pillar where a jar contains Treasure #20.

The hole for your pole

Jump up to the pole

This jar contains your 20th Treasure

Jump down and remember where the pole is sticking in because you will need this pole later on. Go to the Temple wall finding another jar in the left corner: This one contains Treasure #21.

Treasure #21 in this jar

Now you have to return toe the spot where you stacked the pole into the hole in order to obtain Treasure #20. Jump up to the pole and when the yellow hand appears press B1 to get the pole out of the hole.
