CLIMBING UP
According to Natla, Avalon and the Norse Underworld of Helheim are one and the same. Entry is not possible without Mjolnir, the War Hammer of the Norse God of Thunder, Thor. Is it that what my Father was searching for in Thailand?
Select
the Jungle outfit for Lara this time if you’re fed up with watching Lara’s
bare legs.
Being in the water, climb the back deck of the boat and notice 3 sharks swimming
nearby. You can easily aim on them and kill them with your pistols first. You
will miss the 3rd one, so remember there is still one swimming
around. So better equip your Spear Guns as your second Weapon... just in case.
Get rid of two sharks
first
Look
at a grey ledge on the opposite cliff. That’s where you’re headed to.

Dive
in and swim to the ledge. Stop between the ledge and the waterfall on the right
side and dive into the water. You probably will see the 3rd shark
coming nearby. Put him down with some Spears.

Swim between two Anemones
Pick up your 1rst Treasure
Now
you can climb the ledge. Approach the wall and you will automatically grab the
plants hanging from it. Climb upward diagonally to your right and when you’ve
reached the end jump right, under a narrow ledge. Jump up to this narrow ledge.

From here jump up to the narrow ledge
Vault
up to a higher narrow ledge, shimmy right, and jump right to a narrow ledge left
of a waterfall.

Shimmy
right (behind the waterfall) and once above a cave let go. Turn on your Flash
Light, shoot some attacking spiders in the cave and pick up your 2nd
Treasure and a Health Potion.

Leave
this cave and from the rounded protruding ledge jump to the small narrow ledge
on the opposite wall. You see a larger one on the left side and one below this.
Head to the lower one in that direction. (these are the narrow ledges you
climbed before)
Overlook the 3 narrow ledges
Return
to the wall you climbed (backtrack). Now you’re back at the position seen 5
pictures before.
Jump left but this time don’t climb down to the lower ledge but climb all the
way left at this height until you reach a narrow ledge (left on top of it
you’ll notice a red & green winged Macaw (Ara
Chloroptera), which is odd because this parrot is native to South America
and not to Thailand, unless someone...)
Climb to this narrow ledge
Shimmy
to the left until you can’t go any further and jump backwards to a narrow
ledge on the wall behind you. Press B4 to pull up and hug the wall.

Walk
all the way to your right against the wall.
From here jump to the opposite ledge
The ledge leads to stairs
Follow
the stairs and on top shoot some spiders. Lara is looking to the left now. Cross
to the next ledge and ascend the few stairs. Take the Health Potion on your
left.

Turn
right until you reach an edge with a slope. From here you see a horizontal pole
sticking out of the left wall.

Slide
down and jump to the pole. When hanging from it swing around and jump to the
opposite narrow ledge.

And then to the narrow ledge
Vault
up to a passage and ascend a few more stairs, then proceed to your right. Go up
more stairs and kill a bunch of spiders. You’re overlooking the beautiful
Phi-Phi islands now again.
Save your Game at this point!
Turn
left from the stairs from where you can see a Treasure lying in an alcove under
the ledge. Hang from the ledge. Drop down to a lower narrow ledge and to the
wall plants under there. Climb down to your left and jump to the alcove, pull up
and take your 3rd Treasure.
Look down from the ledge and spot a Treasure in the lower alcove

Hang
from the edge of the alcove and backtrack to where you came from.
Return to the overlooking ledge (you may kill some more spiders though).
Turn left and notice two narrow ledges one above another.
Jump to these narrow ledges
Take
a running jump to the lower one, vault up to the higher one, pull up and hug the
wall. From there jump to the narrow ledge on the opposite wall and vault up to
the higher ledge.

Pull
up and notice a blue Macaw on a branch (Anodorhynchus
Hyacinthinus), also not original Siamese at all but from Brazil.
On top with a Hyacinthine Macaw
Walk left until you see your boat and a flat rock on your left containing a Treasure. In order to get this Treasure you must take a running jump.

Collect your 4th Treasure
Turn around and run/jump to the ledge in front of the waterfall which is the outlook spot you’ve been to before.

Use
the narrow ledges once again to return to the previous ledge.
Follow
right of the grey rock and listen to a Save ping.
Save your Game here.
Follow the path through dense forest swinging from left to right until you see
an arch with a ring hanging on top.

Stand
on the edge, grapple on the ring and jump forward. At the highest point press B4
to jump to the opposite ledge.
Continue along the road (you will hear an animal growling) until you reach some
rocks to crawl under.

Follow
the stairs on your right and look right to see three jars standing on the
landing. Break the rounded one for your 5th Treasure.

Left
you see two walls to perform a Chimney jump (jumping from wall to wall and
climbing higher). Start from the left pillar until you reach the narrow ledge on
that pillar.

Shimmy
left around the corner and jump to the narrow ledge on the left pillar.
Prepare your jump to the left pillar
Shimmy
right around the corner and vault up to the upper crevice. From there jump
backwards to the opposite narrow ledge.

Shimmy
all the way right to the next column in the corner and prepare for a backward
jump to the opposite column.

all the way around and vault up to the higher narrow ledge on this column.

Shimmy
left and jump left to the narrow ledge. Shimmy left as far as you can and then
vault up to the upper narrow ledge. Then shimmy right until you can pull up to a
street covered with greenery.
