Starting a New Game
on the upper circle of the Menu “START NEW GAME”
Start New Game
will then get the following screen:
Are you sure?
YES and the PLAYOR TAILORING screen will appear.

EXPLORER: Easy Mode
MASTER SURVAVALIST: Difficult Mode
degree of Difficulty has no impact on the Puzzles: they are all alike in the
three Modes. However, the more difficult Mode you select the harder the fights
will be and the faster Lara may die. It’s up to you which one to select. But
if you’re a Tomb Raider addict and have played all the previous Games, MASTER
SURVIVALIST is definitely your option.
I have selected TOMB RAIDER for the Walkthrough.
Click on the desired Mode.

now the actual game starts:
Lara’s Initial position
Before starting to play it is advisable to try out all the controls either with Mouse/Keypad or with the Gamepad.
- Pressing left and right D-pad switches between Binoculars and Weapons. With Binoculars G (B5) and H (B6) get the image closer or farther. Press right D-Pad to exit.

you open FIELD ASSISTANCE in the PDA Lara will say: I
need to get back inside the Manor and find out what happened.
Push B1 and she’ll say: I need to pull the switch that opens the concealed door to my bedroom.
So now you know that the FIELD ASSISTANCE provides hints in case you don’t know what to do.
walk slowly forward up the step, turn right and then left avoiding the flames.
If Lara gets too close to the flames she will protect her face with one hand,
meaning you have to get her away from the fire.
She will now reach a ledge in front of a staircase and in the right corner a tutorial message will appear telling you how to jump and grab the ledge (B4).
When hanging from the ledge a similar message will tell you how to pull up (B4).
Jump to the ledge and pull up
up the stairs and turn right. A yellow hand will appear above a lever meaning
you can interact with that object (B1). She will pull the lever down and the
door on her left will then open.
How to interact with the lever
The door opens
the upper step to your right, turn left and notice an arch where you will be
told how to pass through: run and roll (LAS + B3).
Run, and crouch/roll
of the other side of the arch is a sloping pile of stones that you must climb.
Jump to the edge of the larger block.

up and notice a door with a golden ring that you have to grapple (B2). Keep
pressing B1 until the door will be pulled out.
Grapple on the golden ring and pull out the door
in the direction of the door and you will hang from the other side of the block.
Let go by pressing B3. You may also jump forward instead.
Run through the door and pick up a Health Pack right in front of you by pressing B1 when the yellow hand appears.

you came through the door you will have noticed that Lara was looking left. That
means a direction you’ll have to go to. There is a narrow ledge behind the
spot where you picked up the Health Pack that is partly broken. Left is an
unbroken part. Position Lara skew facing the unbroken part, jump to the corner
and hang down from the narrow ledge.

to the left until you see a text appearing PRESS B4 to jump and grab. Now you
will be hanging from a higher narrow ledge. Shimmy left and if you want to go
faster repeatedly press B1.
Now press B3 to let go to the lower narrow ledge.
From the upper narrow ledge to the lower again
Shimmy left until the end and when told so press LAS down + B4.
Jump backward at this point
will land on a floor below in front of a Golden Chest. Stand in front of it and
see a yellow hand appearing with a message of how you can move the chest. Press
B1 to hold the hand grip of the chest and maneuver the chest forward with LAS
until in front of the wall next to the pillar in the left corner.

B3 to loosen the hand rail, jump on top of the chest and vault to the higher
narrow ledge. Shimmy right to where you can’t go any further. Press LAS right
+ B4 and end up in a carpeted hallway.

Jump right from this spot
walk until you are standing right in front of the door from a distance. Look at
the floor left and right. It seems like some planks are broken.
This is where you should position Lara after the jump
walk towards the door and some debris will fall from the ceiling creating a
flaming hole in front of the now opened door.

a running jump inside the door (LAS forward + B4).
Turn left and follow the upper walkway of the central Hall of the Manor,
avoiding the flames. Use your grapple (a blue Q will appear). Press B4 + LAS
forward to swing over the flames until you are at the highest peak and let go by
Lara is now on the opposite upper walkway. Turn right and just before the flaming pile of wood there is an opening in the banister on your right. Slowly approach the hole and Lara will hang from the edge. Press B3 to drop to the floor.

soon as Lara drops down a cut scene starts where two people enter through the
main door. It is Winston and Zip, who holds a gun in his hand and aims at Lara.
[note: we remember Winston as Lara’s

to shoot her. However, Winston recognized her: Stop
it’s Lara! I know!
