EPILOGUE: A NEW BEGINNING

The Prince bends over Elika's dead body and lifts her up.

Carry Elika's corpse to the shrine outside the Temple. Credits are rolling when you walk through the passage leading to the front door. The door behind you closes and the front door opens. Lay her on the shrine.

The Prince has the dream Elika always used to have.

The camera shows blue light beams above the Entrances to the four Land Areas.

You get an Autosave here.

Go down to the Desert. In the background you can hear a conversation of Ahriman talking with who seems The Concubine.

Run down the stairs

Run to the Entrance of City of Light. You will see that there is a Tree under the light beam.

Climb up to the narrow ledge past the ring.

Shimmy around the corner and prepare a wall run.

Shimmy right and prepare a wall run

Press red on the corner ring and continue wall running around the corner. Jump off to the ledge with the Tree.

Pull up and face the Tree.

Cut the tree. The monument will turn grey and dead.

Cutting the Tree kills the Lands

Jump down and head for the ledge in front of Royal Palace.

Jump up to the roof of the small building on your left and turn right.

Up to the small building

Jump to the narrow ledge on the taller building and shimmy right around the corner.

Jump to the narrow ledge on the next building and shimmy right around the corner. Prepare a backward jump to the ledge.

Jump to the ledge, cut the Tree and kill the Lands.

Destroy the Tree and the Lands

Run to The Vale.

Use the ring on the tallest building to climb up to a ledge. The camera shows a panoramic view suggesting a chimney jump.

Jump backwards and end up by the Tree. Cut it and destroy the Lands.

Run to Ruined Citadel.

Find the wall with the ring and use it to run up to the narrow ledge. Go left.

Go left when you reach the narrow ledge

Shimmy around the corner and prepare a wall run.

Wall run, jump off to the left wall and continue wall running.

Wall run and jump between walls

Jump off to the ledge and destroy the Tree.

Jump off and cut the Tree

After you have destroyed all four Land Areas the camera will point your attention to the Temple door.

The Temple door is glowing blue

Return to the Temple. The front door will open as you approach. Run to the door giving Entrance to the Fertile Ground. The door behind you closes and this door will open. Jump down and cut the Tree of Life.

Destroy the Tree of Life

You will get a very special Light Seed in your hands.

The Prince gets a Light Seed

Carry the Seed outside to Elika.

Bring the Seed to Elika

Lay the Seed on Elika's corpse and she’ll resurrect from death. The Prince takes her in his arms.

The Light Seed from the Tree of Life is consumed by Elika and revives her

The Prince carries her away from the collapsing Temple. She seems to stare at infinity.

What is one grain of sand in the Desert? Why?

It gets dark and the monstrous face of Ahriman is reflected in the night. The Prince carries Elika far away from this destroyed place that was once a thriving Kingdom.

This isn’t over yet...

The final credits start rolling.

THE END

Congratulations! You’ve finished this epic Game! You can still return to some Lands and complete your Light Seeds – if you can’t get enough of playing.
The Game is over, but the story just begins... a new beginning. I have the feeling we’ll soon meet again with the next Prince of Persia Game...
