This is Ahrimanís Tower.
Prince: Ahrimanís Tower? Why would you build a Tower to Ahriman?
Elika: Ahriman and Ormazd werenít always at war. The Tower was built more than a thousand years ago when they were brothers. Each balancing the other, until Ahriman decided to take it all.
Prince: I knew the Tower was built before Ormazd and Ahriman split... but why keep it?
Itís a reminder.
Itís like going home with a girl and
finding keepsakes of her ex boyfriend everywhere. Creepy.
Elika: Maybe the girl wants to remember what had been good before things went wrong. Maybe it was to remind her of the things that did go wrong.
Prince: Maybe her interfering mother couldnít forget him. Do you think Ahriman will be happy to find his Towerís been demolished?
Elika: Ahriman doesnít care about this City.

Is this how you ran the City? They worked,
Elika: Thatís me, a bureaucratic voyeur.
Prince: Thatís sarcasm, isnít it? You know, knowing fancy words doesnít make you clever.
Elika: You didnít get it, did you?
Prince: You have to judge your audience. I didnít get it. That makes me right and you wrong.
Prince: Telling a joke I canít get doesnít mean youíre clever.
Prince: If you canít communicate what you... oh I get it, yeah, very clever. Well done. Shall we climb this Tower?
Great, now she thinks sheís funny.
Itís a good thing Iím here, I mean what would you have done without me?
Elika: Oh, Iíd probably have curled up in the corner and cried. Iím the pathetic, useless type.
Prince: More sarcasm.
Elika: I am grateful you stayed, honestly.
Prince: See? Now how do I know when youíre being straight and when youíre being sarcastic? This next bit looks tricky.
Elika: Worried you might break a nail?
Prince: There you go. Now thatís humor. Doesnít look like youíll get to see much of the inside after all. No sign of The Warrior, do you think heíll leave us be? Ahrimanís Tower? Hey, if we manage to pull this off, will you build me a Tower? I think Iíd like that.
There is a vertically sliding ring on the wall
I think we need to use that ring. If we

Prince: Any suggestions?
Elika: We need to find a way to go up.
Prince: Thanks, thanks for that.
Prince is watching the plates on the wall.
This is different. Give me a moment, Iíll figure it.
This Tower must have been amazing in its
Prince: Okay, I canít figure it.
Elika: The plate is up there, under that walkway. We just need to find a route up to it.
Prince: If there is one.
Elika: Letís see what that crank does.
Prince: How are we supposed to get up there?
Elika: If we lined the ledges on those round grills up we could use them to climb.
The puzzle requires logical thinking and some geometrical anticipation. First have a good look at the wall.
