Elika: This
devastation is more than the work of Corruption.
Prince: Why do I get the feeling if
Corruption didn’t do this, something worse did?
Elika: In the last battle with Ahriman,
the City was given to the Warrior. I think this could be his work.
Prince: Aw, I’m really starting to
feel all this in my shoulders...
you couldn’t give me a backrub could you?
Elika: That’ right, I couldn’t.
Prince:
Princess, you know, I wish some more good
guys would turn up. This place is crazier than a boat shop in a desert town.
Look away from the entrance and notice two successive slopes going down.

Two slopes ending by a higher ledge
Slide
down and jump from one to the other until you reach the ledge.

Jump and slide from the first slope

Slide from the second slope

Jump off the slope up to the ledge
Pull
up and see the Warrior down on the Corrupted Fertile Ground under a blue light
beam.
Prince: Let me guess, he’s standing on
the Fertile Ground

Yes
Prince:
If the thing’s just standing there,
shouldn’t we go somewhere else?
Elika: The Corrupted will try to stop
us wherever we go. There won’t be easy answers.
Prince: Well, if we have to face him,
let’s get it over with. Does this Warrior have any weaknesses?
Elika: The writings say he was a King.
He asked Ahriman for help and in return for the King’s Soul Ahriman gave him
the strength to fight the armies that threatened him.
Prince: I said weaknesses.
Elika: No, no mention of weaknesses.
Prince: You had to pick this Religion?
You couldn’t have picked one where all the evil Creatures were I don’t know...
slightly angry sheep? If the Warrior wanted his enemies killed why’s he ended
up here?
Elika: Ahriman twists people’s
desires. The King asked for the Power to save his people. Ahriman gave him that
and in return made an instrument of war for himself.
Prince: Is there anything we can use
with the Warrior against Ahriman?
Elika: Ahriman kept his promise. The
King’s people were left by Ahriman’s forces, but they are still gone,
vanished into history.
There
is a slope in front of you leading right to a ledge. Look up and also notice a
gigantic black instable Stalactite hanging from the roof.

The slope

The Stalactite
Jump and slide from the slope and the stalactite will drop down. The Prince and Elika will jump to a ledge on the right side.

Jump and slide and the Stalactite will loosen and drop down

Jump to the right ledge
Climb
up the vines on the wall and vault up to the top.

Use the vines to climb up to the top
Wall
run past the vines to the opposite ledge. Once reaching the vines the place is
partly coming down.

Reach the opposite ledge
Jump
to the column and then to the ledge.

From the column to the ledge
Jump
to the next column and to the second.

Jump to the next two columns
Slide
down from the second column and jump backwards to the ledge.

From the lower part of the column to the ledge
Now
all you still have to do is jump to the Ground and meet the Warrior face to
face.

Time to jump to the Ground!
Greet
the Warrior!

Die with Honor!
This kind of Boss can’t be harmed with swords or Magic. You must push him from the Ground. Lure him close to an edge (he’s very slow), stab him 4-5 times (blue) to get him there and then repeatedly press the shown color (usually blue) like hell to push him from the edge where he is balancing.

Lure him near an edge

Keep pressing blue

Push him from the edge
The
Brute has fallen from the edge into the Abyss.

Prince: That was scary...
...Why
were you trying to talk to that thing?
Elika:
He’s a man, not a thing.
Prince: If he was a man, he’s not
anymore.
Elika:
What he did, he did for
honor. We should
try and use that.
Prince: You don’t want to use the
Warriors “Honor”, you think he can be saved. Just because someone has a
crown doesn’t make him Noble...
no offence.
Elika: He sacrificed his life for his
people.
Prince: He did it so people would talk
about his sacrifice.
Elika: You are such a cynic.
Prince: Not cynical, realistic. You
really people do things that aren’t for themselves?
Elika: Some people didn’t take
Ahriman’s offer, they chose to fight.
Prince: Might not have been gold, but
they still chose what was best for them! I bet they thought they’d get
something in the afterlife.
Elika: So, why are you doing this?
There’s no gold here.
Prince: Just because I don’t want
Ahriman to win, doesn’t mean I care about Ormazd.
Elika: You chose to stay because of
who you are because you’re good.
Prince: I’m not you. I don’t want
to live here so other people who don’t care can live out their miserable
lives. The Gods, the people that died here, they did what they did because they
chose to. Because they thought there was something in it for them. If the
Warrior’s people are gone, why does he stay with Ahriman?
Elika: The Corrupted have no choice,
Ahriman takes their Soul.
Prince: If all the Corrupted lose
their souls, themselves … why have they got separate names? City Gate, huh?
You could’ve just put a gate on the cave, but then that wouldn’t have been
so showy.
Time has come for healing the Fertile Ground now.

Elika is lifted up by the light beam
Press
yellow repeatedly and watch the wonder happen again:

The Fertile Ground is getting healed
The
Prince takes the exhausted Elika by the hand:

Can you see a way out of here?
Elika
shows the way out:

I think we can get out that way
