PALACE
ROOMS
From
the Fertile Ground of Coronation Hall
you can see the small ledge on the opposite side with the Black Gate.
Having returned here look at the Black Gate
Set
your destination on the Map to Palace
Rooms.
Your destination: Palace Rooms
Take
a ride from the yellow Plate on your left to the ledge.
Get launched to the ledge
Elika:
The Palace Rooms are three large halls
across three floors. The Concubine has probably taken the top floor as her own.
Prince:
Any way we can tell what’s real and
what’s not?
Just use your instincts
Prince:
The same instincts that lead me into this
mess?
Elika:
Law of averages, you’ve got to be right
some time.
Elika walks to the Gate and merges with the Power to destroy it.
Elika destroys the Black Gate
Walk
through the open Gate into the
The tower with the Palace Rooms
Jump
with Elika’s help to the opposite wall and wall run up to the yellow Plate.
I’ll number the Plates, so this is Plate #1 (yellow).
Get up to the yellow Plate
Take
off and avoid many obstacles by steering well with LAS.
Avoid these obstacles
You
will reach Plate #2 (yellow).
Reaching the second yellow Plate
When
catapulted from this Plate, again avoid as many obstacles as you can.
The obstacles are harder to avoid on this flight
Then
you will hit a ledge with Plate #3 (blue).
The ledge with the blue Plate
Get
pulled off to Plate #4 (blue).
To the next blue Plate
The
hook will pull you to Plate #5 (yellow).
A short trip to Plate #5
This
Plate will hurl you on a longer flight where you must avoid all obstacles.
Steer with LAS
The
flight will end at Plate #6 (blue).
End of this flight: Plate #6
You
are pulled off to Plate #7 (yellow).
To Plate #7
This
is your final flight. Avoid all the obstacles and land on a ledge leading to the
lowest of the three rooms
Last flight: to the lower room
Prince:
I wonder what she’s going to throw at us
this time?
Elika:
Illusion is her Power. Anything that
happens in here will take that form.
Walk
inside and the door on the opposite side closes.
Then
many illusions of The Concubine appear that are constantly shifting place. The
Concubine’s voice is heard. She’s provoking and even flirting with the
Prince:
Welcome to the ball, honored guests...
shall we begin the dance?
She
goes on teasing the Prince and Elika:
Help
me, help me, rescue me. Rescue me from my Father. Rescue me from the naughty
God.
Oh
I will, my darling. I will forget my gold, forsake my destiny, live as a pauper,
not a Prince.
Prince:
I like to get my hands on you.
Concubine:
Oh thank you, thank you, my little man.
Prince:
I’ll find you. You’re as good as
caught.
Can we be together, my darling?
Prince:
This is going to be very real when I find
you.
Concubine:
Oh, no, I love Ormazd.
Prince:
Those illusions have rotted your mind, you
can’t see what’s real anymore.
Concubine:
I love my Father.
Prince:
What would Ahriman say if he knew you were
two timing him?
Concubine:
I love my Lands.
I’d have thought The Hunter was more
your type.
Concubine: That is what I love. That is my duty. Little man, huh? … I’ll show you. Aw, not one of me, but many. Some men would find this most appealing. Would you save her over me? Three floors, little man, you have a choice to make. The sand is running, Ahriman has got a Desert of it, but, you little man are down to your last few grains. Are my charms so dulled by my imprisonment?
Strike each illusion of the Concubine with your sword until they’re all gone.
Get rid of all the illusions
The
real Concubine will then appear. Now you don’t spare that arrogant
bitch. There’s no bit of sympathy like with The Alchemist although he was some
creep too. Send this Madam to her Harem... in Hell!
Forget about her, it’s time to think
about me
When
The Concubine has lost a third of her power she’ll leave to the middle room.
She might have your heart...
but I
will have your soul
Prince:
I think I’ll try and hang on to that. It
seems to be coming in handy.
Elika:
We will need to go to the next floor. That
Plate should take us there.
Are you in shape to...
?
Elika:
How much time do you think we have left?
We must keep going.
Prince:
Stay close.
Elika:
I’m not going anywhere.
Prince:
What’s on the next floor?
Elika: They’re all the same as this, big
spaces. They were used for banquets, receptions...
a long time ago.
A door is opening up
Walk
outside and wall run on your left to Plate #1 (blue).
Wall run to the first Plate
Get
pulled to Plate #2 (yellow).
To Plate #2
Fly
to Plate #3 (yellow).
Plate #3
Enjoy
a long flight without any obstacles to Plate #4 (blue).
The flight to the blue Plate
Get
pulled to Plate #5 (yellow).
To the next yellow Plate
This
Plate will direct you to a ledge for landing.
Approaching a ledge
Land
on the ledge with Elika’s help.
You need Elika’s help for a safe landing
The
ledge gives access to the hall on the second floor. The Concubine appears and
knocks Elika on the floor.
Elika is KO for a while
The second part of the battle is about the same. Elika will wake up and together you can reduce The Concubine’s health to a third.

Then
she’ll run off to the third floor. Elika looks pretty exhausted now:
The next floor is the last one
Prince:
Then we’ll have her cornered
The
Concubine suddenly interferes from above:
Or...
you have a choice. Walk into the web, or walk away. Ahriman will clear a
path for you, so you can leave.
Prince:
Yeah...
and he’s the trustworthy type,
Ahriman. He’ll just let us go...
so we can warn everyone he’s about to get
out. Aha, silence speaks volumes.
A new door has opened
Go
outside and wall run left to Plate #1 (blue).
Wall run to the blue Plate
Get
pulled to Plate #2 (yellow).
To the yellow Plate
This plates hurls you at Plate #3 (yellow) but the whole landscape will turn around and you’ll have to avoid a couple of obstructions by steering with LAS.
A bumpy flight to the next yellow Plate
The
next flight is easier but a bit tricky at the end. You have to get Elika’s
help to wall run to Plate #4 (blue).
To the blue Plate with Elika’s help
The
hook will pull you to Plate #5 (blue).
A short trip to the next blue Plate
You
are pulled to Plate #6 (yellow).
To the yellow Plate
Enjoy
your last flight: to the third floor.
On the top floor
The
Concubine appears:
No, no, no, you chose her. So choose
her
She
creates a circle of images of Elika in a circle around the Prince.
Oh, no, my little man. How will you
find her now?
...what would you sacrifice for her? How will you prove yourself to her?
Think!
The real Elika will always save you
from dying. Sacrifice your life: walk to an edge and jump into the depth.
Elika
pulls you up to the platform.
The real Elika prevents you from dying
Well,
let’s face it... Elika plays it cool:
I need you alive... you lunatic
Prince:
I knew you’d save me.
Elika:
What if I’d fallen unconscious again?
Prince: Ah...
oh, I didn’t think of that.
But
The Concubine feels cheated:
Well,
little man. You took the test. You failed.
Continue
with the third part of the battle.
Scenes of the final battle
When
The Concubine is defeated by “the little man” she seems to realize what
damage she has done.
The end of a Concubine
As usually, Elika comforts a Corrupted on her return to the light. The Concubine looks like a helpless old woman now.
I had no choice...
I have no choice.
Elika and The Concubine touch hands
The Concubine is then consumed by a blinding light and you get a bonus of 25 Light Seeds – not really needed, but all right. The Prince takes care of Elika who is weary.
You’re right, let’s get out of
here. After all this I’ll get you those carpets you wanted.
What carpets?
Prince:
You know, redecorate the Palace like
you’ve been saying.
Elika:
I’m not The Concubine. She’s gone,
you’re stuck with me.
Suddenly
the Land is shaking.
That
wasn’t an illusion either.
Let’s
get out of here.
You
will get an Autosave.
Prince:
How do we get out?
Elika:
Over there, that will allow us to leave.
Prince:
I knew I’d find you.
Elika:
You’ll find me under rubble if we
don’t go.
Prince:
Any chance you can finish these things
without making everything collapse?
Elika:
Let’s go to the Plate and get out.
Go
outside to where you see a yellow Plate on the left wall.
Go outside
Wall
run to the Plate and fly off.
Get on your way out of here
Enjoy
a spectacular flight to the balcony of the Fertile Ground at Coronation Hall.

Prince:
What she said was designed to drive a
wedge between us. You said it yourself.
Elika:
Some of it was through. I do serve my people and –
Elika:
No, no, of course not. We’ll finish this
then you can find your Donkey...
Prince:
And you can get back to ruling your
people. Everything back as it was. Just as you wanted.
Elika: Well,
we haven’t finished this yet.
Prince: You could come with me...
when I go. You
need to find your people, the ones who left.
Elika:
I need to make sure all is well here
first. Until I’m sure I...
Prince:
Yeah, sure, sure.
Your
task has been fulfilled in this Area. There is still one Area left that waits to
be healed: City of
Light.
Open
the Map and teleport to the Fertile Ground of City Gate.
Set your new destination: City Gate
