MACHINERY GROUND – LIGHT SEEDS

 

 

Take 4 Light Seeds from the Fertile Ground.

Open the Map and set your destination to Construction Yard. Teleport to the Fertile Ground. The path from the Fertile Ground to the border platform is still fresh in your memory, so return there.

From the border platform you can gather Light Seeds at the continuation of the path to Machinery Ground.
Stand on the protruding beam and jump to the pole. Then jump from the pole to the narrow L-shaped beam. There is a Light Seed hanging above.

Climb up the pillar and grab LS410, then gripfall down.

Walk to the end of the beam and study your next move: there is a Light Seed hanging on the wall, next there is a sliding ring and second Light Seed. You will certainly remember that this sliding ring triggers two ledges to emerge from the wall.


Concentrate on your next moves

 

Jump and wall run [LS411] to the sliding ring.

Press red to continue wall running [LS412] and jump off the wall with Elika’s help to the narrow beam construction. Notice two Light Seeds hanging above a ring on the left wall.

Climb up the wall using the ring going after LS413-414.


Up to the Light Seeds and gripfalling down again

 

Jump to the first pole and catch LS415.


Get LS415 when jumping to the first pole

 

Jump to the next pole and to a platform which will look familiar to you (you’ve just been there in the Corrupted state).

This platform is a junction, and therefore I shall call it Junction Platform #1 of this Sublevel. On your right is the way to Heaven’s Stair – your next destination. So you want to keep this for the end. On your left is the path to Martyr’s Tower. You’ll have to clear this path from Lights Seeds first.

Jump to the first pole. Jump to the second pole and catch LS416.

Then jump to the ledge from where you can see a wall running track passing a ring with a Light Seed below and going further to some vines. Get to the vines, climb up to the right corner and notice a Light Seed hanging above you.

Continue to the vines and climb up

 

Jump up to get LS418 and gripfall back on the vines. Shimmy to your right, preparing a wall run.

Wall run from the vines and jump off to a next platform. This is another junction Platform. I’ll call this Junction Platform #2. Left you continue to Martyr’s Tower and right you can use the red Power Plate to explore more of the Machinery Ground.

Go into the Tunnel of Martyr’s Tower. Jump with Elika’s help to the higher opposite ledge.

Pull up and take LS419.

Continue to a lower part of this ledge and jump with Elika’s help to a next ledge.

Take LS420 and proceed.

There is a small ledge on your left with a Light Seed and two Light Seeds hanging on the opposite wall.

Jump to the small ledge first (with Elika’s help) and take LS421.

Get LS421

 

Turn right, facing both Light Seeds on the opposite wall. Jump with Elika’s help to the wall. The Prince will wall run up, take LS422-423 and gripfall down. Jump off to the ledge again.

Turn left and wall run, jump off to the right wall, continue wall running and jump off to the next ledge.

Take LS424 on this ledge.

This is the last Light Seed you can get from this side of the Tunnel. You have to return to Junction Platform #2. Open the Map to see your position and set your destination to Machinery Ground.

You can save your Game on Junction Platform #2.
Wall run to the red Power Plate (like you have done before with the Corruption).

You will end up at the arena where you have met The Alchemist.

Notice a vale blue Power Plate on a wall. This means you will need the last Power to finish this Sublevel: Hand of Ormazd, and return when you will have acquired that Power.

Jump to a lower ledge.

There is a ring on the wall under a narrow beam, and a Light Seed above.

Climb up the wall using the ring and pull up to the narrow beam.

Walk to the end and grab LS425.

Jump to the opposite wall with the two rings and use it to climb higher up to the vines. Climb up to the top left corner. Prepare a wall run to ring.

Wall run past the ring and jump off to a ledge with a wheel that is not turning any longer unlike when you were there during the Corruption.

You are following the same way as you have done during the Corruption in the previous Sublevel. I shall only show screenshots with Light Seeds until you reach the Fertile Ground again.

You’re back on the Fertile Ground now where you can save the Game. Launch from the red Power Plate to Junction Platform #1.


Ride from the Plate to #1

 

You can now follow the path to Heaven’s Stair – you next destination. Jump to the pole [LS433].

Jump to the wooden ledge. You can wall run from there past a ring to a narrow beam. There is a Light Seed under the beam.


Study your next move

 

Walk to the end of the protruding beam where you will achieve LS434. Wall run past the ring and jump off to the narrow beam.

Jump to the opposite platform. From here you can already see the bordering platform with the black flame of evil.

Jump to the opposite pole [LS435] and jump further to the large platform.

Here you have some sliding to do from two slopes – each with a Light Seed. Steer with LAS and catch LS436-437.

Jump from the slope to the ledge.

The Soldier of Ahriman you will meet there is always blue. That means your attacks should be blue strokes.


Kill the bugger with blue

 

Go to the other end with some more slopes and Light Seeds. Jump to the first slope, grab LS438 and jump to the vines. Shimmy right.

Shimmy right, wall run, jump off and slide down.

Grab LS439 and jump to the ledge.

Your next destination is Heaven’s Stair. Set it on the Map and let Elika confirm it with her Light Flare.

This is the way to Heaven’s Stair.


Get ready for more Corruption

Next Sublevel:

HEAVEN’S STAIR

 

Returning with Hand of Ormazd

You are coming from Level 3: Ruined Citadel, Sublevel: The Windmills – Light Seeds (Part 2) with Hand of Ormazd.
Go to the red Power Plate and wall run up.

Like before, this will launch you via a second red Plate to a ledge.

Make your way to the red Plate you can see up right. Wall run to the Plate.

When taking off from this Plate you’ll pas two more red Plates.

Then you’ll hit a square platform.

Jump down to a lower section of the platform on your left.

Wall run to the blue Plate.

Take a round trip catching 5 Light Seeds returning to the square platform.

Set the controls to Heaven’s Stair.
