MARTYR’S
TOWER – LIGHT SEEDS
You
start off with 186/340 Light Seeds in total and there are 45 spread over this
Sublevel. Don’t forget exploring Tunnels between healed Lands either: you are
still in need of 145 Light Seeds required for a next Power.

The Map at this start
Your
three first Seeds are on the Fertile Ground: LS187-189.
Stand
before the Hunter’s trap facing the Entrance you flew in


Look down from this edge
Gripfall
and when you pass LS190 jump to the opposite wall and steer by with LAS to pass
LS191. You’ll land on the lower ledge.

Look forward to see how it all changed here. Two Light seeds are hanging between the two last pillars.

Two Light Seeds in front of you
Get
them with a chimney jump between the pillars and move up to the higher room.

Pull up to the higher room
Work
your way up to get the two Light Seeds in this room. You have been here before
when it was still “Corrupted”. Start with the two narrow ledges.

Start climbing up here and shimmy right
Wall run to the right and further behind the corner. Jump from the pole with Elika’s help [LS194] to the next pole.

Drop down and climb up again to the higher narrow ledge where you shimmy left. Wall run to the opening, pull up and take LS195 outside.

Turn
right and ascend the stairs. There are two light seeds [LS196-197] at the bend
to the next staircase on your right.



Take LS196 and 197 by the bend
Continue
up the stairs and enter the room with the hole and the Power Plate. Take LS198
while jumping between the protruding narrow beams.

Take the Light Seed while jumping from one protruding beam to the
other
Jump
up to the Power Plate and whirl around the room jumping and wall running from
pillar to pillar and a narrow ledge to reach the Fertile Ground again (just like
you did before during the Corruption).

Go
to the Power plate with the Light Seed hanging in front and before jumping up
Save your Game.

Save your Game here
Climb up the Power Plate and obtain LS199 as a Bonus. Press yellow and dart off down to a platform.



The ride to the lower platform
Let’s
call this the Central Platform of
this Sublevel. A pillar is standing there with a yellow Power Plate and there is
a Light Seed on the floor. Add LS200 to your Seed Box first.

Stand
with your back to the pillar and notice there is a protruding narrow wall
leading to a right path and one leading to a left path. Also look up at the
corner of the opposite wall to notice many narrow ledges and some vertical
pipes.

A Light Seed is hanging on the wall in each of both directions. Walk along the right narrow wall first. Jump with Elika’s help to the narrow wall protruding from the corner ledge and turn around.

run to [LS201] and jump off to the narrow beam of the Central Platform.



Return to the Central Platform with

Notice
a narrow ledge on the right side of the protruding wall. Jump to it and vault up
to the second. Look up at a green Power Plate: the Breath of Ormazd. Hence, also here you won’t get all of the Light
Seeds until you return with this still missing Power. Gripfall down and jump off
to the narrow beam.

Continue
you to the right side on the Central Platform and notice another such narrow
ledge on the wall. Jump to it, vault up to the higher narrow ledge and shimmy
right around the corner. Jump up to two higher narrow ledges and shimmy left
around the corner to the end and prepare a wall run to a ledge on your left with
two Light Seeds.

run to the ledge and immediately catch LS202. Then take LS203.

Take LS203
Return
all the way down until the first narrow ledge you originally jumped to. Prepare
a wall run to the corner ledge on your left meanwhile grabbing LS204.

Notice
there are two directions to follow from this corner ledge. On your right is one
of both Entrances to the Tunnel leading to Machinery
Ground (The Vale). Look on the Map where you are and where the Tunnel is
going to:

Leave
the Tunnel for now (we’ll return here soon) and follow left.




Wall run to the opposite ledge grabbing LS205

the other side of the ledge you can spot 4 more Light Seeds. Wall run from the
left wall and jump off to a pole [LS206].

The
next three Light Seeds are hanging on the left wall and are divided by two
rings. This is quite a fast series of acrobatic moves!

Plan and memorize your moves
Jump
to the wall, wall run past [LS207] to the first ring, press red, pass
[LS208] to the second ring, press red and wall run to LS209.

Continue
wall running past LS209 and jump off to the pole on your right.

Land on a pole hanging from it
See
this black flame of evil on the opposite platform? Jump to the wall and wall run
to the ledge for the battle with Ahriman’s Soldier.

Finish
him off with one or two combos and look at the opposite side: the total
Corruption! This is the Entrance to the Tunnel (or path) leading to The
Windmills. You can check this by setting your destination to The Windmills
on the Map and let Elika throw a light Flare. However, that destination does not
concern you for now.

This
is as far as you can go on this side of the Sublevel. You first want to go to
the other neighboring
Return to the Central Platform the same way you came here. But before doing that look up at a square pillar and notice a pair of Light Seeds. To reach them you must first climb up to the pillar and then perform a series of very tricky jumps back and forth between the opposite wall and the pillar each time with Elika’s help to get higher and higher up. If the first time you’ve caught only one [LS210] try again for LS211, which is higher up.

Eventually catch LS211 and jump down
Now
return with your loot to the corner platform just before the Central Platform,
at the Entrance to the Tunnel you saw before. Climb over the ledge and grab
LS212 in the trench.

Jump down and take the Light Seed
Go
on and climb over the next ledge.
Jump
to the opposite rock ledges and collect LS213.

Turn
right and jump to the opposite lower ledge with Elika’s help.

Turn
left until you see three cylindrical platforms past a gap. A Light Seed is on
the first top.
Jump
to the first cylinder and pull up. Take LS214.

Turn left and notice two Light Seeds hanging on the opposite rock wall. Jump from the left to the right with Elika’s help [LS215 and LS216] (if you fail, Elika will pick you up anyway).

from the second to the third cylinder and take LS217.

A
series of two wall runs brings you to a wooden ledge attached to a cylinder with
LS218.





Going after LS218
That’s
as far as you can go before the Corruption in the other half of the Tunnel
begins. So return all the way back to the Tunnel’s Entrances and this way take
the Tunnel Entrance on your left to exit (you came in by the right Entrance on
the right seen from here).

On your way back jump up to the higher ledge with Elika’s help

The Entrance on your left also contains a Light Seed in the trench

into the trench, take LS219 and climb the Exit ledge.

Straightforward
you see a wooden plank ledge. That is where the path to The Sun Gate begins and
from where you entered Martyr’s Tower during the Corruption. The path is also
healed now and there are many Lights Seeds lying ahead.
Jump
down from the ledge and further to the plank ledge grabbing LS220 lying on top.
From the other side overlook the scenery.

Walk
to the end of the protruding beam. Jump to the wall and automatically wall run
to the vertical pipe on your right. Slide down from the pipe.

Gripfall
down on the ledge below. Turn around the pillar and wall run up to grab LS221.
You’ll gripfall down on the ledge again.

Jumping up to the Light Seed

Walk
to the end of the protruding narrow beam and execute some jumps between the
poles and narrow beams. Catch LS222 on the way. Then jump to the hanging column
and climb up to the ceiling.

next column
Roof
run and find LS223 on the next hanging column. Look right and see another
ceiling ring that leads to a longer hanging column with a Light Seed down below.

Look right and spot a ring and a Light Seed down on a longer column

The
green platform you see on your left is the border of The Sun Temple Land where
you fought Ahriman’s Soldier. Your path through the Corrupted Tunnel to
Martyr’s Tower started here.
Look right to an arched pillar containing a narrow ledge. Turn your back to the pillar and jump backwards to the narrow ledge with Elika’s help.

Hang from the narrow ledge
Shimmy
right around two corners to the opposite side of the pillar and let go to a
small ledge with two Light Seeds.

Take
LS225 and LS226.

at the
Open
the Map and see that your location is at the edge of The Sun Temple.
You
have 40/45 Light Seeds in this Sublevel Martyr’s Tower and will have to return
later on with the Breath of Ormazd to
collect the five remaining Seeds with the green Power Plates.

Your specs on the Map
You
need to pass all the way through The
The
easiest way to return there is setting your destination to the Fertile Ground of
The Sun

First set your destination to The Sun
Temple and teleport (yellow)
When
you’ve reached the Fertile Grounds Save your Game and set your new destination
to Marshalling Ground. You won’t
be able to teleport yet but Elika will give you directions of where to walk with
her Light Flares.

Once you’re at the Entrance to the Tunnel and you have fought Ahriman’s Soldier again, continue to the NEXT SUBLEVEL:
Returning with the Breath of Ormazd
You
have been teleported to this Fertile Ground from the previous Land: The Sun
Temple – Light Seeds (The remaining Seeds) with the purpose to pick up the
last 5 Light Seeds with Breath of Ormazd. Your total amount of Light Seeds is now 345/540.
Return
to the Central Platform by the yellow
Power Plate.
Remember there were three paths to follow from the Central Platform? Look at the
right path and you’ll immediately see the green Power Plate on the wall above
the two narrow ledges (I’ve taken your attention to that – see higher).

Walk
on the protruding beam and jump up to the two narrow ledges.

Use
the Power to run up the rocky wall. You can follow a clear track going left to a
second green Plate higher up.

When
you press yellow from this Plate the camera will turn towards your third Plate
higher up. There is a Light Seed hanging in front of it. Run up and grab LS346.
Continue to the fourth Plate with a Light Seed hanging there.

Catch LS347 at the fourth Plate. Continue by pressing yellow and wall run to the ledge immediately catching LS348.

Climb the ledge and get

Once
on the ledge you can take the two remaining Light Seeds.

Open
the Map and confirm that you have found all 45/45 Light Seeds in this Sublevel.
Then, set your destination to The Cauldron (The Vale) and teleport there.
