THE
WINDMILLS - LIGHT SEEDS
Part
1
THE
TUNNELS
You’ll
start this Sublevel with 267/340 Light Seeds, meaning 73 Light Seeds are still
required for your next Power.
There
are two ways out of the Fertile Ground:
-
walking on the protruding narrow beam grabbing a Light Seed
-
jumping to a pole and further to a ledge with Light Seeds

The protruding
beam

From the pole to the ledge
You will also have to get the Light Seeds from the healed part of the Tunnel from Marshalling Ground you came in from, and from the healed part of the Tunnel leading to Martyr’s Tower. Both tunnels meet at the Gazebo Platform. Open the Map and set your destination to Marshalling Ground and then to Martyr’s Tower.

Let
Elika throw a Light Flare to show your path to each destination. It is equal
for both: going down along the protruding beam. Obviously it is pointing to the Gazebo
Platform where both Tunnels meet. So walk along the beam taking LS268.

Walk to the protruding beam
Jump
with Elika’s help to the opposite pole [LS269].

go to the lower pole and to the floor of the Gazebo
Platform.

Tunnel
to Martyr’s Tower
Let
Elika send a Flare to check the way to Martyr’s
Tower.
Turn
right and watch all the Light Seeds on the way to Martyr’s Tower. You should grab the Light Seeds from this newly
healed part of the Tunnel first and return to the Gazebo Platform again.

The path to Martyr’s Tower
The first two ledges are slopes and lead to a ledge. Jump to the first one, slide down, jump to the second one and slide down [LS271].

At the end of this slope jump to the ledge with Elika’s help.

to the pole [LS272].

Hanging from the pole
Jump
to the wall and wall run to the ring. Press red to turn around the corner
and notice a Light Seed right beyond the ring.

Continue
wall running around the corner [LS273] and jump off the wall to the pole
[LS274].

You
must now repeat the same thing: wall run to a corner ring, press red,
continue wall running around the corner [LS275] and jump off to a narrow beam
protruding from a platform.




From the pole beyond the ring to a beam
[this
combat only occurs if any of both Lands is Corrupted. If healed – like here
– skip this part]
Look
at the evil column of black fire on the platform.

The rebirth of a Soldier of Ahriman
Once
you set foot on the platform the Soldier will turn and stay blue. Hit him
with your blue strokes until he disintegrates.



Get rid of the Blue Monster
This
platform is the middle of the Tunnel between The Windmills and Martyr’s
Tower. You already have the Light Seeds from the other side of the Tunnel,
so this is your point of return to the
Gazebo Platform.


The border between both Lands
Check on your Map if this is the place where you are and set your new destination to Marshalling Ground. Let Elika confirm this with a Flare. It will go along the protruding beam you just came from.

Save
your Game.
Return
from the protruding beam the same way you came until you reach the ledge before
the two slopes.

Jump to the ledge and pull up
You
cannot climb up the slopes but notice a ring on the wall on the right side. Jump
up to the ring, press red, and continue up to the ledge. Pull up.

Turn
around and notice a narrow beam protruding from the left wall with two Light
Seeds on top. Jump to the beam [LS276].

Turn around and discover two more Light Seeds

Jump up to the wall and gripfall down [LS277] on the beam.

Jump
back to the previous ledge and pull up.
Wall
run [LS278] to the ring where you press red to continue and end up on the
next ledge.

The
next view gives you an idea of how to proceed further on. There are two rings
leading to a pole and in between the rings is a Light Seed to catch.

Prepare a wall run to the pole past two rings and a Light Seed

run to the first ring, press red, take LS279, wall run to the second
ring, press red, and wall run further jumping off to the pole.





From the ledge to the pole
Jump
from the pole down to the Gazebo Platform,
and let Elika throw a Flare confirming that the path to Marshalling
Ground goes straightforward.

Ground Tunnel
Go
down the stairs first and turn around to have a look at the Light Seeds hanging
in that direction. Memorize this picture well.

Look at some Light Seeds you may not notice when down there
Return
up to the Gazebo platform and turn
left. This is the Tunnel to Marshalling
Ground.
Jump
to the first slope and slide down.

to the second slope and slide down [LS280].



Get LS280 sliding from the second slope
At
the end of the slope jump with Elika’s help to the ledge.

Elika pushes the Prince safely over the wide gap to the ledge
Walk
to the end of the protruding beam and jump to the hanging column [LS281].


From the protruding beam to the column
Jump
backwards to the wall, wall run and jump off to the second hanging column. Climb
up to the top from where you see rings, columns and Light Seeds.



To the top of the second column
Roof run past the rings [LS282-283] to the column and jump off to a narrow beam protruding from a platform.








These acrobatic roofruns grant you two extra Light Seeds
Here
you are in the middle of the Tunnel to Marshalling
Ground where you arrived from in a Corrupted state.
The
other side is cleared from Light Seeds, so you may return to the Gazebo
Platform again.
Open
your Map and set your new destiny to The
Windmills, because you’re going to pay a visit to the healed Tower now.

Turn
around and look up to spot two light Seeds on a narrow ledge above the
Tunnel’s Entrance.

Two Light Seeds still to collect
Jump to the narrow ledge on your left and vault up to the higher narrow ledge. Shimmy right around the corner and prepare a wall run to your right.

run grabbing LS284-285 and drop down to the protruding beam.





Wall run, grab two Lights Seeds and drop down
Turn
around and jump with Elika’s help to the hanging column. Climb up and look at
the other row of rings, a column and a Light Seed.


Jump to the column with Elika’s help and climb up
Roofrun
to the second column past two rings and continue roofrunning past a ring to
LS286 on the second ring. Roofrun further until you drop to the ledge.




From the second column to the ledge
On
the opposite side you notice a blue Power Plate (Hand of Ormazd), and some Light Seeds on that height. You understand
that you will have to return here later on after you acquired this Power to get
the complete the collection of 45 Light Seeds.

Look
down from this ledge too: there is a lower ledge beyond the three poles in front
of you. There are also 2 poles under the second pole.

Jump
past three poles to the next ledge and grab [LS287] from the second pole.


Get the Light Seed when jumping between three poles
From
the earlier view at the bottom of the stairs you must remember a Light Seed
hidden by this ledge. Look down from the edge.

Hang
down from the ledge and shimmy all the way from the narrow ledge to the opposite
side past the corners. You will then hang right above the Light Seed.


Shimmy around until you are hanging above the Light Seed
Gripfall down taking along LS288 passing the upper ring.

With LS288 in the sack gripfall further down and when touching the lower ring press LAS forward + red and you’ll reverse sense and climb up to the upper ring instead of gripfalling further down.



Reverse sense at the lower ring and climb up again
Press
red at the upper ring to keep going upwards to the narrow ledge.

Shimmy
left along the corners to the opposite side, pull up to the ledge and notice a
Light Seed in front of you hanging in the upper right corner.



Shimmy around and pull up to see the Light Seed
Climb
up the wall [LS289] and gripfall on the floor.




Up to the Light Seed
Walk
on the protruding beam and jump to the first and the second pole. LS290 is in
between.

Jump to the second pole grabbing LS290
Jump
to the third pole and from there with Elika’s help to the wall, run up past
the ring and pull up to the Gazebo
Platform again.
