Chapter
17: Crossing the Desert
You’re now flying over an imaginary Desert map.
A flight above the desert
Steer the plane along the second track. There are armed
Zeppelins you’ll have to shoot.
Shoot at the Zeppelins
Further there are obstructions you have to shoot your
way through.
Clear the obstructions
Once you get into the desert the plane will fall out of
gas.
Entering the desert
The plane will drop down.
A crash!
Some Arab guys will arrive by a motorcycle with a
sidecar. Apparently they’re on Allan’s payroll.
Who are you?
But Cpt. Haddock takes care of them.
Now that’s
what I call a headache.
Haddock takes a seat in the sidecar:
All right,
Tintin. It looks as if we’re on the same side.
Chapter
18: Find an Entrance to the Palace
Tntin will drive the motorcycle:
Press and hold A to accelerate
Press and hold B to brake
Avoid the barrels the truck is dropping an aim at the
motor riders with RT.
Avoid the exploding barrels
Shoot the motor drivers in front of you
Tintin and Haddock are shifting places.
Shifting places
Now you have to aim with L and shoot all
vehicles from behind.
Aim and shoot
Time to find out who Allan’s Boss is! He MUST have
the third Scroll. They’re entering a Desert City now.
Must be Bagghar
Go in town an find someone to talk to.
Was
this man among the survivors of the shipwreck?
I believe so, yes...
...He hangs around a lot with Sidi Ben
Salaad.
Sidi Ben Salaad seems a trader from around here. From another guy Tintin learns Allan can be found at Karim’s café where everyone goes.
You have to
go down to the lower part of town
To Karim’s Café
Karim tells Tintin Allan was just sitting right here on
the terrace a moment ago.
Tintin orders Snowy to follow Allan’s scent.
Snowy finds an entrance to a Courtyard guarded by
an Arab
Halt!
This is a restricted entrance. For palm grove employees only.
Haddock then meets an old friend:
Bashi Bouzouk!!
Bashi Bouzouk gives Tintin and Haddock some Arab
outfits.
Cpt. Haddock and Tintin look like Arabs now
Tintin and friends can now enter the Courtyard
Tintin, Snowy and Haddock enter a dark place. Lit your
lantern. Haddock will give you a hand so you can reach a catwalk with a lever.
Throw the lever
Now enter the water with a device that pulls you
forward.
This device can be controlled
While traveling under water make sure not to bump
against anything except the Crabs with Golden Claws (there are 3 of them).
A Crab with a Golden Claw
On the opposite side get out of the water.
Disembark here
Chapter
19: Omar Ben Salaad’s Palace
The Palace
Make your way inside. There are usual ladders, levers,
passages and foes to fight with. Also look at Chests containing Crabs with
Golden Claws.
Find your way through lifting platforms
Eventually you’ll reach the roof of the building.
They are hearing some music.
Bianca Castafiore!
Inside they finally meet the famous Italian Diva Bianca
Castafiore.
TINTIN?!! The
“little” reporter from Brussels?...
...You’ve
come all this way to interview me again? And who’s your friend?
..(sniff...
sniff?)...
A fisherman surely?
Chapter
20: The Last Scroll
You will find the last Scroll in Ben Salaam’s room.
The 3rd Scale model of the Unicorn
But first you’ll have a fight with Allan.
The fight with Allan
Return to Ben Salaam’s quarters and adjust the three
sails of the scale model.
The third Scroll revealed!

21: Captain Sir Francis Haddock
You’ll see a flashback of the battle of Sir Francis
Haddock with Red Rackham. It seems he wasn’t a coward at all.

22: Escape from the Palace
Tintin and Haddock have now to escape to Brittany in
France. First you’ll have to run off with the bike.
Shoot the other bikers
Next find a plane and take off
Shoot blimps and obstacles
Finish off this Level.
