LEVEL 3
KARABOUDJAN
Chapter
11: Find Tintin
Get
ready to move the load!
Everybody
forward!
Shall
we bring yer guest aboard, eh Allan?
Yes,
precious cargo that is!
What
do we do with him?
We
dump him discretely...
at the bottom of the hold!
Get
ready to maneuver!
ALLAN!
WE’RE READY!
I’ll
be in the crew’s quarters.
Snowy was listening to all this and now follows the
track on the imaginary map from the Castle to a ship called the Karaboudjan
where Tintin is held captive.





Snowy follows Tintin’s scent to a ship
Casting
off!
Who’s
this dog belong to?
What
dog?
Inside the ship two men are entering the bunk where
Tintin is held prisoner. He’s been interrogated. The men are not pleased with
Tintin’s answers and want to throw him overboard. Then, the Lieutenant enters
with the Captain’s message: Tintin should stay on board.

What again?
When they have left, Snowy enters through a shaft
carrying the Scroll.

Quick, untie
me...
I’m
looking forward to having a little chat with this Allan!
Another 2D-section is coming ahead.
Chapter
12: Find Allan
Move the crate so you can jump up to a higher floor.


Use the crate to jump up
Jump right to the ledges and reach a lower floor with a
Chest.

Open the Chest...
...and collect a Crab with Golden Claws
Then make your way further right until you can climb a
vertical shaft.

Climb this vertical shaft like pictured by the
arrows
Then ride the rolling bands.

I wonder
where this boat’s going?
Make your way through the sections of the machine rooms
and take your time to open some Chests.

A
Crab with Golden Claws
Here you have to pick up a nut and aim it between the
two spinning cogs. This will block the cogs and the boulders will stop pounding.


Block the cogs with the nut
Now you can duck and walk to area 2.

Aim with the object at the man in the diving suit
Find your way to the next section.

Pick up the bananas and aim at the next man in a
diving suit
This will get you a key to unlock the door.
Here is a tricky section. You have to jump past
collapsing ledges and first open a Chest on your left.



First to the Chest with the Golden Crab
Further on your right is another tricky section. Climb
up and take the nut.

Grab the nut
Jump on the rolling bands and aim between the cogs
before you reach the end (otherwise you’ll drop down into the steam).

The nut will block the cogs

Now you can duck and pass
Once outside climb your way up to a porthole with your
grapple hook.

Use L and X to grapple and climb up
Chapter
13: Up to the Wheelhouse
Tintin will tumble into the cabin where Captain Haddock
is locked up by Allan and his gang.


Tintin meets Haddock
Allan and his clique will also enter the cabin while
Tintin and Snowy are hiding behind the door.
A whole conversation goes on where things will clear up. You’ll have to
find your way to the other side of the ship and use your grapple hook to climb
up to the deck.
Chapter
14: The Second Scroll


Here you’ll meet Allan steering the ship
After a fight with Allan Tintin retrieves the second
Scroll.

Tintin enters the cabin of Haddock again:

Captain!...

My name is Tintin...
Chapter
15: Sir Francis Haddock – The Ancestor’s Curse
Haddock tells Tintin the story of his ancestors:

It is the year 1676...
A pirate ship is approaching. It is the ship of Red
Rackham!


Red Hackam is boarding the Unicorn
Chapter
16: The Shipwreck
Cpt. Haddock is telling the story but his gestures destroy vital parts of the Karaboudjan. Tintin and Haddock have
to escape the rising water and reach sea level, where they watch the Karaboudjan
capsizing.


The sea plane drops down
Haddock is sitting on the plane and explains the curse
of Sir Francis Haddock:

The old Haddock was a coward
Tintin, Snowy and Cpt. Haddock escape by plane while
the Karaboudjan is sinking to the bottom.

The escape by a water plane
But they get hit by a severe storm with tornados.
Safely guide your plane through the open spots, and boost up by pressing A
when needed.



Not a comfortable flight!
