LEVEL 2
MARLINSPIKE
Chapter
5: The Park

A
new Level
Tintin walks on an imaginary map from the Brussels
Atomium to Castle Marlinspike.

They’re
after the Scroll, I’m sure of it!

What is it about that ship? What Secret does the Unicorn hold?
Tintin calls at the Gate:

Ringing won’t help much now, will it...
So he decides to climb over by the vines. But someone
is watching him.

He’s going into the Bird’s place. What
do we do Allan?
Allan: Nothing,
for now.
Once inside, explore the Park first.
It’s too risky. We don’t want to be spotted. We need to find another way in, Snowy.

There must be more tracks around here.
Snowy runs to the other side of the building and Tintin
is following him. Tintin listens to a conversation between two men at a side
window.

That’s the man from the Flea Market!
Walk up the stairs on the back side and a rat will
appear.

Snowy has to follow this rat
You play as Snowy now. Press and hold RT to
follow the rat’s scent.

Snowy follows the rat’s scent down the stairs...

...and finds a stained spot in the garden
Keep tapping A to dig and tumble into the
rat’s tunnels.
Tintin: I can’t follow you! You’ll
have to open up a way for me to get in.
Inside the tunnels lots of rats will appear. Face the heard and keep barking
to frighten them.

Don’t let the rats bite you
This is a 2D-section. Jump and climb until you reach a
spot where you can find a buried treasure.

Snowy found a Crab with Golden Claws!
Eventually you’ll climb up to a floor with a green
light where you’ll meet Tintin.

We’re in the cellar beneath Marlinspike!...
We did it!! But first... I’m giving you the Scroll, Snowy.

Chapter
6: The Crypts
Tintin has to follow the cellar passages beneath
Marlinspike. This a 2D-section where you have to climb ladders and walls, crawl
through tunnels and jump to platforms on spinning wheels. Your goal is to reach
the Castle rooms and find your way up to the Naval Room.

On your way you’ll find many chests containing Crabs
with Golden Claws.

You’ll learn how to sneak behind an enemy and perform
an attack by pressing RT.
There are balancing platforms you’ll have to jump to, run over and jump to a
ledge.

Chapter
7: The Salons
When you reach the Castle floors you’ll be looking
inside a doll house.

Like a doll house
Often you’ll have to find a key to a locked door.
Grab onto the edge of a nearby hole to get Snowy through a horizontal shaft and
let him collect a key (careful with the rats though!).

You can aim objects to enemies on higher floors.

8: The Marine Room
Tintin will finally reach the roof from where he enters
the Naval Room.

Two scale models of the Unicorn are on display here
But there a no Scrolls inside.

9: The Second Unicorn
Apparently there are two gangs who are after Tintin’s
Scroll. However, Tintin gave the Scroll from the Flea Market to Snowy who is
hiding.
Tintin escapes to the garden and is followed by a car. Run away from the car and
jump over obstacles.
Chapter
10: The Chase

Run away from that car!
Eventually Tintin reaches a dead end and is beaten K.O.
by the foes.

Bring him along … he knows things
Tintin is abducted by car and Snowy is staying behind...
