Level 4

Forbidden Forest

Revisited

Back in the Level Select Screen, return to the Checkpoint. Backtrack to the Dragon Area. On your way, behind the poisonous Mushrooms you will find the extra Triwizard Shield – the reward for your 10 Mini-Shields.

Your reward Shield

WITH HERBIVICUS SPELL (past Level 7)

From the Level Select Screen return to the Checkpoint and from now on you can also open Flower Pads that are spread everywhere in the Forest and extract Beans from the Flowers. You’re free to do this, but I won’t mention it in this Sublevel unless it is something you really need to take. Head back again for the Dragon Cage.

Lift the block in front of the cage and destroy the Poisonous Mushrooms on the right side. Climb the hill until you see the vine leading to the Triwizard Shield on top of the Cage. Cast Herbivicus on the Flower Pads of the vine to reach the Shield. Careful though because Vampyr Mosps are attacking and the Dragon is now launching Fire Bolts at you on the vine.

Grab the Shield

As always you’ll be sent to the Level Select Screen. Select Forbidden Forest again. Return to the Checkpoint and this time backtrack again to the Arena where you fought the Skrewt. Remember, that was the closed off area from Sublevel 1, on the other side of the road from the Dragon’s Cage.

Get rid of the Skrewt and climb the vine, casting Herbivicus on its Flower Pads. You’ll reach a higher plateau with another Blast-ended Skrewt and loads of Vampyr Mosps. When the Skrewt is screwed the Triwizard Shield hanging in the air will lower down in order to grasp it.

This is a hard battle

Grab the Shield and get out of there!

Back from the Level Select Screen, return to the entrance by the Ruins’ stairs, which is now blocked by a poisonous Mushroom bed. Use the nearby Bubotuber to open the entrance (this is very difficult – you have to target very precisely). Inside there are 3 Cauldron Cakes and then run up the stairs like you did before avoiding the flame jet on your left. Put down all flame jets and pick up 5 more Cauldron Cakes before returning to the beam over the gap. This time the Dragon won’t drop fire. In fact, where is that Dragon?

A nasty Dugbog will attack again and there are 2 Cauldron Cakes to grab. On your left there is that same area blocked by wooden beams. So follow to your right and get rid of 4 Dugbogs. Accio two Pumpkin Pasties and in the corner Jinx your 5th Dragon Statue. Proceed to a Triwizard Shield hanging above on a higher ledge. Cast Herbivicus to open the Flower Pads on the vine that leads to the Triwizard Shield. But watch out for attacking Vampyr Mosps!

The Triwizard Shield is on a ledge

Catch it!

Having finished here, you will be beamed to the Level Select Screen. Select Level 6: Prefect’s Bathroom, for completion with the Herbivicus Spell. Or – if you wish – select Triwizard Task 1: the Dragon again for improving your score.

Now up to... Level 5: Triwizard-task 1, the Dragon!
