Defence Against the Dark Arts

Lesson Two

When loading this game you will discover that Harry Potter has earned a number of Cards. In the first place he has the 5 Dugbog Jinx Cards:

One-Eyed Freak is giving some new instructions:
Potter, if you’re to survive the Triwizard Tournament, I suggest you start collecting Triwizard Shields. And Remember: Constant vigilance!  

You will have to practice collecting 5 Mini-Shields in this Lesson. In next Levels collecting 10 well hidden Mini-Shields will provide you an extra Triwizard Shield.

There are two Mini-Shields in the room, and you can get more Beans out of all the objects applying multiple Jinx. Take the Choc Frog too. In the next room cast a combined Aqua Eructo to extinguish all the fires. They’ll shed Beans too. Watch for when your partners are trying to extinguish a fire and then join the Force.

After all fires are extinguished get Beans out of all the objects and move on. Extinguishing the big fire in front of the door takes a long time. Keep pressing Charm for combined forces. Enter the next room. Here you’ll meet some Salamanders!

Ah! You should remember this Creature. (Sure we do. Couldn’t they come up with something new in this Game?)

Spray them with combined forces (keep pressing Charm until your friends join in) and quickly take the Beans. Get the pedestal rewards with Accio and get all Beans out of the objects. Climb up the four stairs to collect the 3^rd Mini-Shield.

Then go outside through the door and summon your rewards. Hold back the fire jet by pressing Charm. Continue left up to the stairs while picking up the Blue Beans. Beware of next fire jets. Extinguish one more Salamander and go up more stairs. On top of the tower you also need to extinguish the Salamander fire to prevent new Salamanders from appearing!

Put Salamander fires out, or they’ll forever spawn new Salamanders

After having extinguished the fires, move the drawbridge towards you with Carpe Retractum. When the bridge is down grab the Choc Frog. Move up the stairs on your right and face more Salamanders. You can beat these Salamanders with Wingardium Leviosa by lifting/pulling rocks and dropping them on those buggers. Now get two more Mini-Shields from the small staircase that leads to the Triwizard Shield.

Approach the final Shield

Congratulations! You’ve completed Defence Against the Dark Arts Class. Now you’ll have to choose the location Hogwarts Exterior on the Level Select Screen and find one more Triwizard Shield to unlock the next location! Your rating is now Competent!
