Arcane, The Stone Circle Mystery - Episode 6

Examine the persons sitting around the table. They all seem frozen in time. Click twice on the baroness to get her tiara. Take the gold colored funeral urn from the stand at the right side of the room. Take the candle from the table. When you have picked up the candle you'll blow out the candle.

Take the box of matches from the mantelpiece. Examine the fireplace. See the burning book but the flames are static if it is lost in time. Click on the lantern in your inventory. Click and drag the matches on the candle. Examine the large clock at the left side of the fireplace. Click on the tiara in your inventory and much to your surprise you will be teleported to another room.

This room has a huge time travel device. With the use of this device you can go and visit the past, the future and the present time. You can adjust this device by pressing the center wheel. Once a symbol is set correctly - representing the past, the future and the present time - you can travel there by pressing the corresponding symbol on the outer rim. First you have to go to the past.

Press the center wheel seven times. Notice that the bottom symbol matches perfectly. Press that symbol on the outer rim. This will bring you back to the table. Notice that the persons that are sitting around the table do look a lot younger now! Brrr... brilliant but spooky! And believe me.. it's getting more and more brilliant and spooky! I'm sure you'll love this Episode very much!

Take the candle from the table. Examine the fireplace. Because you are in the past the book isn't burning yet. Take the book from the fireplace. Of course you'll read the book to learn more about the Talisman called Yhe and how to obtain that talisman. When finished, zoom out. Click on the tiara in your inventory to end up in a chapel. Examine the huge statue at the left side of the chapel. Listen to the monk's story. At the end he'll give you a tarot card called The Hermit.

Move your cursor over Ophelia and click on the red arrow to return to the room with the fireplace. Examine the chair in front of the fireplace. Meet your own mother! She'll give you the tarot card called The Empress.

Click on the candle in your inventory. Click and drag the matches on the candle. Open the doors at the right side of the room. Although you are walking down the stairs, you'll never reach the exit. Click on the tiara in your inventory to end up in front of a very special closet. Examine the door of the closet. Notice that it is locked with a snake shaped lock.

Also notice the four flames that surround the lock. Notice that a tune is played and that one of the flames will be lit for a short time. In order to unlock the door you have to replay the tunes by clicking on the appropriate flames. The first tune exists of only one tune which you have to replay. Hmmm... a piece of cake you might think. Well... believe me it isn't that easy. The best way to solve this puzzle is to make a note of the tunes. Because in the end the tune exists of eight tones! Number the two flames on top 1 and 2. Number the two flames at the bottom 3 and 4.

Now make a note of the tones before you replay each and every tune. To give you an example: to open the lock I had to click the flames in this order: 1, 1-2, 1-2-3, 1-2-3-2, 1-2-3-2-3, 1-2-3-2-3-2, 1-2-3-2-3-2-2, 1-2-3-2-3-2-2-2. Because these tunes are different all the time I can't give you the exact solution to this puzzle. Each and every time you replayed the tune correctly the snake on the lock will get smaller and smaller. At the end it will slide to the side and opens the closet.

You will see yourself reflected in the mirror. That is... as a little girl. Remember that you traveled to the past! Touch the mirror and you will transformed into the little girl. As a little girl you are standing in a strange room with three strange looking platforms. When you have a closer look, you'll see that these platforms do have names. The left platforms are named dacapo (which is Latin for "from the beginning"), the center platforms are named carpe diem (which is Latin for "Seize the day") and the right platforms are named ad patres (which is Latin for "To it's ancestors"). This can only mean that the left platforms are meant for the past, the center platforms for the present and the right platforms for the future!

Click on the left platforms named dacapo. Click and drag the book on the left small platform. Click on the same platforms again. Click on the platform with the painted curl. See how you step on the platform and being teleported back to the room with the table. Examine the clock next to the fireplace once more. Click on the tiara in your inventory.

Now you're back in the room with the time travel device. This time we have to go to the future. Press the center wheel three times. Press the top symbol on the outer rim. This time you'll arrive in the room with the table in the future. Take the candle from the table.

Examine the fireplace. Click on the tiara in your inventory and you'll get teleported to the chapel once more. Examine the huge statue on the left side of the chapel. Notice that the monk has become a cardinal by now. He will not only give you another tarot card, called The Death, bur he also gives you a vision of The Eye of the Beast! Move your cursor over Ophelia and press the red arrow to return to the room with the table.

Examine the fireplace. Click and drag the funeral urn on the fireplace. Click on the candle in your inventory. Click and drag the matches on the candle. Open the doors on the right side of the room. Click on the tiara in your inventory to end up in front of the magical closet. Open the lock of the door the same way you did before.

This time you'll see yourself as an old lady in the mirror. Touch the mirror. This time click on the most right platforms, named ad patres. Click and drag the funeral urn on the small platform. Click on the same platforms again. Click on the platform with the painted curl. You'll be teleported back to the room with the table. Examine the clock next to the fireplace once more. Click on the tiara in your inventory to go back to the room with the time travel device.

This time we have to go back to the present. Press the center wheel fourteen times. Press the right symbol on the outer rim. You'll be teleported back to the room with the table in present time. Open the door at the right side of the room one more time. Click on the tiara in your inventory to go back to the magical closet.

Unlock the door of the closet for the final time. Now you are facing yourself in present time. Touch the mirror. Click on the bottom platforms, named carpe diem. Click and drag the tarot cards on the small platform. Click on those platforms one more time and click on the platform with the painted curl. For the last time you will be teleported back to the room with the table. And this time you do have the Talisman of Yhe in your hand...
